END OF TRANSMISSION 1/30/05 .......... K
Absolutely amazing! Makes me want to cry. My heart is filled with joy and gratitude today. THANK YOU, PRESIDENT BUSH AND COALITION FORCES! AND THANK YOU, GOD!
It's the PEPSI generation!
And no exit strategery!
It may look that way, but I think men had to vote in one place and women another. They don't like to mix with women, I guess.
Great photo essay as usual!
I was hoping you'd come along Dio. Blessed thanks and prayers for W, our troops and the brave Iraqis...
Watch out! "FREEDOM" ain't politikally korrect.
Saluting the Brave Iraqis! from the Home of the Brave,
the USA.
>> Words fail me. I'm all misty-eyed. <<
Misty-eyed here too. What a wonderful day for FREEDOM!
Ping to #59.
What great day. I type though tears.
Thanks Diogenesis.
Hugh day for the whole world.
Saluting the Brave Iraqis! from the Home of the Brave,
the USA.
It's a great day.
What do you expect a devout communist to say?
Get with the times, oldbrowser!
Really, tho' I was practically glued to the FOX News channel over the weekend. (They're starting to get their act together on international events. The coverage was just great.) In some locales the women and men were segregated, in others they weren't. I don't know if it was a religious or ethnic custom.
Thanks for the ping. I, too, have spent many hours in tears in the past couple of days.
On a personal note, the son of a friend, was killed in the helicopter crash that took the lives of 31 brave and valiant Marines, who were on their way to western Iraq to help with the election. Sgt. Brian Bland, 26, from Newcastle, Wyo. His body was returned home last night, with a full contingent of dress uniformed Marines escorting his casket. He and my son went to high school together and were members of the same wrestling team. He will be buried Thursday in Newcastle, with full military honors.
This made the Iraqi elections especially meaningful to those who knew him.
Brian was a true patriot, a good Marine, and died for a cause he truly believed in. He will be missed.
How dare Kennedy, Kerry and others of like small minds denigrate what these finest Americans are doing and dying for?
I was joking, But I was wondering where the men were. I was glued to the TV all day Sunday too. I was thrilled to see the response from the Iraqis and I was inspired by their courage. I was a little smug to see the forced smiles on the MSM as they announced the "good" news. Okay, I was a lot smug.
He tried to give hope and support to the terrorists. He tried to frighten Iraqis into not voting. He tried to demoralize our troops.
If you saw that ' nightline" special, i think it was last week, it sounded to me as if Joe Wilson called on US soldiers to desert their posts several times.
Well, what are our feminists saying about all this?
