Accept this
Tuesday, Febuary 1,2005
This letter is in response to a Jan. 22 letter to the editor titled "Accept it" by Leah Nicole Hadley of Sumner.
Ms. Hadley tells us in her letter that we should just accept that George Bush is our president. She claims that he was chosen by God to be our leader, that he leads a moral life and is a knowledgeable man who obtained a "high-class" education after high school. She also claims it is a fact that he is one of the best presidents our country ever had.
Ms. Hadley needs to wise up to a few things, and I would be happy to enlighten her and anyone else who is of the same opinion. George Bush did not become president because of God. A small, unimpressive majority elected him. Attending a "high-class" college does not make someone more knowledgeable than anyone else. I also want to point out that just because someone claims to be Christian does not make one moral. There are many who claim to be Christians but go around damning others for being sinners when they are no better themselves.
Furthermore, to say Bush is one of the best presidents in history would put him in the same league as Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy and even Bill Clinton. Bush hardly comes close, and Ms. Hadley needs to accept it.

Frankly, I don't give a fig if people like Rachel accept Bush or not. It is utterly irrelevant.
What I would like to see is national republicans conduct business with the same ruthlessness as the Washington state 'rats.
Owning both houses of the state legislature, and (for the moment at least) having an illegitimate governor manning the helm, they are ramming every socialist wet-dream right down our throats.
Private property seizures, draconian gun control, taxes, you name it, they're trying it.
I would love to see us do the same to the libs - eliminate the Departments of Ecology and Education. Undo 8 years worth of Klintonian clap-trap with some well placed executive orders. Then lets have Frist gather up his courage and pull the full boat nuculer option on the 'rat bastards.
Oh well, a guy can dream can't he?

Just doesn't have a clue about the true Christian faith.

Hey, good posting, even though the Lewiston writer's reaction to Ms. Hadley's assessment of the President was a pack of "sore-loserisms", don't ya think?

Great post!
This woman hasn't a clue...about anything...
How can a Majority be "small"?
How can a college not be place of higher learning?
Would she want to go to a doctor who had not attended Med school?
Comparing President Bush to Clinton is absurd...
The woman is certifiable..
