pm EST Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., is the President of the Center for Security Policy. His organization has been a longtime opponent of the Law of the Sea Treaty because it would give the United Nations the power to tax and it would also give the U.N. control over most of the world's sea beds. Gaffney calls the treaty a, "bad idea." Twenty years ago the Reagan Administration rejected this proposal, but today the conservative Bush Administration, oddly, supports its passage. The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Richard G. Lugar, R-Ind., favors the treaty and will hold hearings on it later in the year. The Chairman of the Free Congress Foundation Paul M. Weyrich will discuss this, "bad idea" with Gaffney.
pm EST A run-down of the media's "Dirty Dozen" -stories that have been botched and bungled, or that lack critical details. Also: what did TIME magazine miss in its story of a recent landmark Supreme Court decision? Attorney Bill Perry will join us to discuss that. And Microchip Mania. You won't believe who's getting 'chipped' now. But is this the wave of the future or just endless hype?
pm EST Join Paul today as he talks to military experts and gives you some straight talk about the social security program. Also up for discussion, Bush's State of the Union address and Iraqi Election run down!
pm EST Today Rev. Jesse Lee tackles diversity and race in Americas newsrooms.
I read an update that said, L.O.S.T was coming up for a vote in less than 60 days.
