Dear Heavenly Father, we come to worship and praise You today because You have done marvelous things. We thank You that You......the Creator of the universe and Lord of all things, have compassion on us, your creation, and we place our trust in You, O LORD.

We are thankful that our President has placed his trust in You, and fears You, and we ask that You continue to show compassion for him, and raise him up because he has humbled himself before You. We ask that You continue to use him for Your glory, and Your glory alone. We ask that he would be faithful in studying Your word, and in thought and prayer. Keep him from pride or arrogance in thinking that he can solve problems alone, and keep him dependent on You for everything in his life; for every decision he must make. Guide his every step, and bless and protect him as he travels. Help the American people to see in him, a man who speaks the truth, and is yielded to You, O LORD.

Bless and protect Laura as well, dear Father, and help their marriage to grow and be strong, as they are faithful in their walk with You. Help them to be a comfort and a refuge to each other, and may their love and commitment grow stronger and deeper each day. Thank You for the example that their covenant marriage is showing to the nation and to the world.

Father, we are thankful that there has been a lessening of violent terrorist attacks in Iraq in the last week, and we pray that it may continue to be so. We ask once again that You place a shield of protection over our troops, and over the Iraqi military and police who are risking their lives for the safety and security of their country. We ask that You be a comfort to those troops who may feel lonely or lost, and that You would wrap Your arms of love around them at this very moment. Lord, we have been reminded by the parents of Byron Norwood of the deep grief that the loved ones of our fallen soldiers will carry with them the rest of their lives, and we pray for their comfort. Grant them a peace that passes human understanding and carry them through these dark days. We pray especially for those soldiers who have been wounded in body, or in spirit, that You would grant healing to them. Help those who have returned home to be able to adjust to a life that may be very different from the one they left behind when they were deployed. We thank You, Father, for the willing sacrifice of each member of our military.

And dear Lord, we continue to pray for our nation as well. Lord, the divisive partisanship, and constant negativity of the Democrat leadership is perplexing. Sometimes it seems as if they don't even care about the country they serve. Father, we ask that You speak to the hearts of these men and women, so that they might see where political differences end, and unity for the good of the country begins. We pray for our President as he deals with members of the Congress, that Your light and love might shine through him, and that he might be a witness, even to his political enemies. We pray for the new Cabinet members, particularly for Condi Rice as she travels and represents this country of great opportunity abroad. Help other nations to see the truth in her life as well. We also pray for Alberto Gonzalez in the daunting task before him, that he might serve You, as he serves as Attorney General. We pray for each of our elected officials, federal, state, and local, that they would understand that this is a nation founded on Your laws, and that the only way for America to be great is if America is good. We ask Your forgiveness for our sins as a nation, and pray that You will hear the prayers of Your people on her behalf. In the strong name of Jesus, who is the Christ we pray, Amen!

Your Prayer was both Lovely and Comprehensive, and a Blessing, sister Ohio!

Our Gracious Redeemer,

We come into Your Holy Presence this Day, Lifting our Praise and our Thanksgiving to You. You have been so Kind to us, Merciful Master, Pouring Out an Abundance of Blessings upon our Land. Your Voice Speaks Softly, Drawing the Errant Sinner, and Your Tenderness Enfolds the children of Your heart. Your Love Sustains the Crushed and the Weary, Holding them, lest they Fall into Deepest Despair. Manifold are Your Mercies, my God, and Sweet is Your Grace that made me Your child. Tell Him of your Love, you saints of the Lamb! Let's Magnify His Goodness, and Lift His Name High!

We Interceed for our brother-President, with Humble and Thankful hearts, so Grateful, my King, for his Godly Deportment and Leadership. But his enemies have not Relented, and still Seek a way to Cast him Aside, so Geat is their Hatred and Loathing for Your child. Cover him with Your Protection, Sovereign Master, Thwarting satan's servants and their Monstrous, Wicked Lies. Wrap Your servant in Your Own Invincibility, Rendering his Foes Helpless and Powerless against him. Make his thoughts Your Thoughts, and his ways Your Ways, Your Blessed Holy Spirit Causing him to Walk the Paths of Grace.

Our Precious Lord Jesus, we Thank You for our Military, our hearts Desiring Your very Best for them all. As they Readjust to Home-Life, Help them and Encourage them in their Marriages, their Finances, their Jobs, and their Spiritual and Physical health. We Commit them into Your Hand, Sweet Master, because that's the Best Place in all Creation to be.

We Lift Up to Thee, our Dearest Papa-Father, every soul who comes here to Seek and to Pray. Many are Hurting, Most Merciful Master, and for these we Pray the Consolation of the Highest. Meet every Need of every Seeking heart, Drawing each child into Your Loving, Fatherly Embrace. If any come here that do not Know You, we Plead that Repentance will be Given them, for the Sake of Jesus Christ. Make every Crushed soul to Know of Your Love, Baptizing them in Your Peaceful and Comforting Presence. Draw them, Dear Lord, Hold them, Shelter them; Place a Kiss on their face, and Wipe every Tear away.

We Love You, our Precious Father, and Glorify the Name of Your Son. You are our Life, our Righteousness, our Salvation, and our Hope, and we can Hardly Wait until we Behold You face to Face. Come and Take us Soon, my Jesus, that we may Fellowship, Adore You, and Worship You Forever. In the Name of His Majesty the King, our own Lord Jesus Christ, we Pray, amen.

AMEN OHIO AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE,BLESSINGS AND INFINITE MERCY TO ALL BRETHREN!

O Lord,

When the world’s unbelievers reject thee,

and are so forsaken by thee

that thou callest them no more,

it is to thine own thou dost turn,

for in such seasons of general apostasy

they in some measure backslide with the world.

O how free is thy grace

that reminds them of the danger that

confronts them

and urges them to persevere in adherence

to thyself!

I bless thee that those who turn aside

may return to thee immediately,

and be welcomed without anything

to commend them,

notwithstanding all their former backslidings.

I confess that this is suited to my case, for of late

I have found great want,

and lack of apprehension of divine grace;

I have been greatly distressed of soul

because I did not suitably come to the fountain

that purges away all sin;

I have laboured too much for spiritual life,

peace of conscience, progressive holiness,

in my own strength.

I beg thee, show me the arm of all might;

Give me to believe

that thou canst do for me more than

I ask or think,

and that, though I backslide, thy love will never

let me go,

but will draw me back to thee with everlasting

cords;

that thou dost provide grace in the wilderness,

and canst bring me out, leaning on the arm

of my Beloved;

that thou canst cause me to walk with him

by the rivers of waters in a straight way,

wherein I shall not stumble.

Keep me solemn, devout, faithful, resting

on free grace for assistance, acceptance,

and peace of conscience.

A PURITANS PRAYER!

CHAPTER VIII.
Of Christ the Mediator.
I. It pleased God, in his eternal purpose, to choose and ordain the Lord Jesus, his only-begotten Son, to be the Mediator between God and men, the prophet, priest, and king; the head and Savior of the Church, the heir or all things, and judge of the world; unto whom he did, from all eternity, give a people to be his seed, and to be by him in time redeemed, called, justified, sanctified, and glorified.

II. The Son of God, the second Person in the Trinity, being very and eternal God, of one substance, and equal with the Father, did, when the fullness of time was come, take upon him man's nature, with all the essential properties and common infirmities thereof; yet without sin: being conceived by he power of the Holy Ghost, in the womb of the Virgin Mary, of her substance. So that two whole, perfect, and distinct natures, the Godhead and the manhood, were inseparably joined together in one person, without conversion, composition, or confusion. Which person is very God and very man, yet one Christ, the only Mediator between God and man.

III. The Lord Jesus in his human nature thus united to the divine, was sanctified and anointed with the Holy Spirit above measure; having in him all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, in whom it pleased the Father that all fullness should dwell: to the end that being holy, harmless, undefiled, and full of grace and truth, he might be thoroughly furnished to execute the office of a Mediator and Surety. Which office he took not unto himself, but was thereunto called by his Father; who put all power and judgment into his hand, and gave him commandment to execute the same.

IV. This office the Lord Jesus did most willingly undertake, which, that he might discharge, he was made under the law, and did perfectly fulfill it; endured most grievous torments immediately in his soul, and most painful sufferings in his body; was crucified and died; was buried, and remained under the power of death, yet saw no corruption. On the third day he arose from the dead, with the same body in which he suffered; with which also he ascended into heaven, and there sitteth at the right hand of his Father, making intercession; and shall return to judge men and angels, at the end of the world.

V. The Lord Jesus, by his perfect obedience and sacrifice of himself, which he through the eternal Spirit once offered up unto God, hath fully satisfied the justice of his Father; and purchased not only reconciliation, but an everlasting inheritance in the kingdom of heaven, for all those whom the Father hath given unto him.

VI. Although the work of redemption was not actually wrought by Christ till after his incarnation, yet the virtue, efficacy, and benefits thereof were communicated into the elect, in all ages successively from the beginning of the world, in and by those promises, types, and sacrifices wherein he was revealed, and signified to be the seed of the woman, which should bruise the serpant's head, and the Lamb slain from the beginning of the world, being yesterday and today the same and for ever.

VII. Christ, in the work of mediation, acteth according to both natures; by each nature doing that which is proper to itself; yet by reason of the unity of the person, that which is proper to one nature is sometimes, in Scripture, attributed to the person denominated by the other nature.

VIII. To all those for whom Christ hath purchased redemption, he doth certainly and effectually apply and communicate the same; making intercession for them, and revealing unto them, in and by the Word, the mysteries of salvation; effectually persuading them by his Spirit to believe and obey; and governing their hearts by his Word and Spirit; overcoming all their enemies by his almighty power and wisdon, in such manner and ways as are most consonant to his wonderful and unsearchable dispensation

Amen to another great prayer.

Lord, each day my thankfulness is renewed that You extended mercy to our nation once again last November. When I see the continued negativity and obstructionism, and depravity, of the opposition, and how it would work against the propagation of the Gospel, I frankly am disgusted.

The courage the people of Iraq showed last Sunday was a direct consequence of knowing that the White House stays the course in its commitment to end tyranny worldwide. They needed to be convinced that America would not abandon them as happened in 1991, and only George Bush could have convinced them of that.

There were times when even I doubted. And that is why George Bush is president rather than I. He has earned our respect. He is the right man for such a time as this.

What the president wants to accomplish from above can only happen with support from below. His domestic opposition is too great unless he has popular support. International opposition, from Islamic terrorists and European humanists, would be overwhelming were it not for prayer support.

We continue to pray that Truth would be unfettered throughout the earth; that every shackle, every coercion, every subterfuge against the minds of men would be broken. We ask for a mighty harvest of souls saved, hearts sanctified, and lives renewed of purpose.

Not only is this necessary and good at the individual level, it is equally so for Your worldwide plan of salvation. The time has come for Ishmael's rejection to be reversed. For You have never abandoned him, and in Christ every curse is reversed, every wound healed, every enemy reconciled.

The time is short, O God, for us to complete our work. When we are saved, it is not so we can continue our lives independently of You, but rather that we can identify with You and adopt Your purposes for living. And that is true of nations as well as individuals. Give us wisdom to know what to do and courage to do it. Reconcile us fully to You, and make us effective ministers of reconciliation to our neighbor.

There is much opposition, from within and without, but You are greater by far, dear Lord. Arise to Your rest, and be glorified in our midst, our Father and God.

I add my fervent AMEN to all these prayers...........

When President Bush took the Oath of Office on Jan. 20 the Bible was opened to these words:

Isaiah Chapter 40: Verse 31
"They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not be faint."
