Is this a national trend nowadays. At the same time a male teacher is charged near Nashville with a 14 year old girl. The cases will not be viewed thru the same lenses obviously.
What is the psychological impulse to make otherwise rather attractive gals in their mid 20s hot for early pubescent lads? Control maybe? Ladies, insight needed?

The accused: Her and hubby are now filing for the big D. Her daddy is the big coach in Warren County TN....this is also big tweaker country in middle Tennessee on the cusp of where Appalachia begins....coincidence?

I just don't understand this. This sort of thing happened at my high school many, many moons ago (late 1980s). A female biology teacher engaged in coitus with six or so of her freshman male students. The case was a shock for my hometown. One of the boys committed suicide as a result of the liason.

This same type of thing happened in my high school with a male teacher and several teenage girls (1970-80). In fact, one of the girls moved in with him after graduation and they lived together for several years. He now is an assistant superintendent in a very huge school district where this same type of activity has been happening lately and I just have to shake my head when the local TV news stations interview him each time another teacher has been accused. He's so appalled, you know, that this would happen in his school district. Yep, they're gonna take "steps" to make sure it never happens again.
