Pro-Life Leaders Seek Face to Face Meeting with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to Begin Dialogue about Abortion and Abstinence

The Christian Defense Coalition will hold a news conference on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m., outside of the Russell Office Building on the corner of Constitution and 1st St. NE. The group will then go to Sen. Clinton's office to schedule a meeting and present the senator with a letter discussing reasons why a direct conversation on abortion is so necessary.

"Senator Clinton, it is truly our hope that you were sincere in your desire to reach out to people of faith and the pro-life community. It would be very disappointing and troubling to discover your recent statements were motivated only by political posturing."
"The new political reality facing anyone seeking the office of President is obvious. That reality is, anyone who embraces a radical abortion-rights position cannot be elected to the White House."
"Senator Clinton, a discussion with the pro-life community would help determine if you were sincere in your comments, or if you were attempting to reinvent yourself on the topic of abortion, to appear less radical."
"It would be seem clear that if you declined such a meeting, after making these widely reported public statements, your intentions were political and not authentic and genuine."

Who are these people? Sounds like a possible setup by her side.
Hillary will agree with preventing abortions and promoting abstinence--by separating more fathers from families with more pro-divorce laws like the VAWA and the so-called "Child Support Act," passed by both parties.
Never mind that every kind of feminism and feminist creates conditions for more abortions.
Any compromise that saves the lives of the unborn is a
compromise worth making.
IT will be a long uphill battle until abortion is banned, it takes baby steps.

No, these folks aren't left wing. They took the SS to court to stop the SS from prohibiting crosses from being displayed at the inauguration.
Also: The head of the Christian Defense Coalition says the greatest threat to the U.S. today is not from terrorism, but from America's own activist judiciary. Pat Mahoney say the rights and freedoms of Americans are being trampled daily by judges with personal agendas.
She WILL NOT meet with them.

It is a set-up to make her appear moderate to the sheeple. Her die-hard supporters know that anything that she says on the issue is just lip service to garner more votes. Any pro-life person who meets with her might as well contribute cash to her '08 bid...at least the money would be less effective than the moral legitimacy these dupes give her.

"Call Hillary's bluff... check!"

I agree these are people dedicated to saving the lives of the unborn, BUT
I guarantee you that this letter is a way to call her bluff---she was double speaking the night she gave a speech about "going half way" with the "right to lifers"---if you really read her speech, I don't think she ever really says that she is against "the right to choose" or against "partial birth abortion"---
In other words, she wants the votes---Dang, she was the FEATURED SPEAKER at the NARAL convention last year---no way, a leopard doesn't change it's spots.
Oh she will do it. She lusts for this kind of publicity.
These people don't have a clue about Hillry.
On the money, PR. She will use these people for whatever advantage she can get from them, and I have little doubt that she is more politically skilled than they are. All they would be doing is giving her some cover.
She'll lie right to their faces.
I'm surprised it is not obvious to everyone! All they are doing is something that should be done with all politicians:
"Put up or shut up!" If hillary refuses to meet with them, she will be proving what a hypocrit she is. If she DOES meet with them.......it will drive a big wedge between her and NARAL and her pro-baby killer sisters.
Brilliant and wise move on the part of the CC.They are
"smoking her out".
Whether she meets with them or not, Hillary has already got the score on the board: she supports killing babies, and she won't change now.
