Maybe there should be a law that all retractions are printed on the FRONT PAGE of the newspaper, right under the headlines. That way, consumers can see how many retractions the paper has to make on a regular basis...
Moyers is so irrelevant anyway,,,

The MSM sc*mbags like Moyers are livid that the Internet is catching them in their endless lies.

So nice to lump Rather, Moyer, Churchill and Arnett....together as lying sacks of solid nitrogenous waste. What's so neat is that the Internet doesn't allow these libs any "lag time" to cover their a@#es.
So now that have to tell the truth. That's what's really driving them crazy. The control of info and the ability to influence. That's why the Chinese ban Internet connections or limit the content. A totalitarian government is controlled by info. Don't control info, can't control the sheep (people).
So Freepers, when the MSM starts spouting off Hilary's magnificent comeback and her "move to the center".... take it for what its worth... nothing.
The light of truth is making the liberal cockroaches scramble.. ...... I love it.

Thanks God for blogs and alternative media.
Otherwise, I very much doubt this would have happened.

"Christian", demoncrap in favor of murdering babies and supportive of homos, he needs to keep his ugly trap shut. Moyers has never even tried to be a decent human being.

What?!?!
Do you mean that the mainstream media doesn't check sources when a "quote" or "document" fits their preconcieved idea!
Who'da thunk it...

But Moyers' letter was not entirely conciliatory. "You and I differ strongly about your record as Secretary of Interior," the letter continued. "I found your policies abysmally at odds with what I understand as a Christian to be our obligation to be stewards of the earth. I found it baffling, when in our conversation of today, you were unaware of how some fundamentalist interpretations of the Bible influence political attitudes toward the environment." Everyday the MSM or some stupid LIB apologizes but yet does not apologize. Kerry, during the campaign, displayed this disease of the left, basically bringing awareness to the illness.

I'm shocked that Moyers was man enough to apologize to Watt. I've never said this before, and probably never will again: "Good job, Bill."

Maybe he should return his honorarium to Harvard. I'd be surprised if the contract allowed him to blatantly lie in exchange for their money.

Syrupy apology.

So, making the best of a bad situation, and since he was writing anyway, Moyers takes the opportunity to both apologize and arrogantly offer his totally unsolicited opinion of Mr. Watt's policies.
I'm sure Secretary Watt has now seen the error of his ways and will send a thank you note to Moyers the Magnificent for opening his eyes.

The Blogsphere shouldn't lett Watt off the hook that easily. The guy tried to mess up our plans for placing the Viet Nam Veterans' Memorial on the mall.
He said a lot of things.
No sympathy should ever be extended to the man under any conditions ~ not even if the Minneapolis (Red) Star slanders him.

Bill Moyers Smears a Better Man Than Himself
Powerline ^ | February 6, 2005 | Jon Hindraker
Post to this thread:
James Watt is my grandfather and we as his family have had to put up with him being labeled as a "religious kook" for 20 years.
Once a quote is entered into LexisNexis by a reporter most journalists are too lazy to go back and investigate to whether it even happened. All it takes is one journalist with a political agenda to slime somebody.
