"student(s)not interested in joining a "diversity club"are subject to obscene gestures and other harrasment"?I'll bet all h@ll would break loose if heterosexual students were harrasing homosexual students who belonged to one of these "diversity groups".

I suppose...but I had male gym teachers too, so it was six of one and a half dozen of the other. My school district was an excellent one though, and all of them took their responsibilities as teachers very seriously.

I wonder why the students, or the parents or guardians, can't file a sexual harassment suit, or at least say they find the displays "offensive," and demand that they be removed from the classrooms. They'd probably be better off with this one:
US Constitution Article I, Section 10 -
No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

Ralph Porras
Ally to Queer Youth, Awardee
Ralph Porras is currently serving his second year as the principal of Santa Cruz High School. He is commended by the students for his continued support and advocacy for the Rainbow Alliance, the gay/straight alliance on campus. During his first year as principal, he went out of his way to accommodate and support the Rainbow Alliance's Peer Education Program and last year's Coming Out Day and Day of Silence. He has earned the trust of the Queer youth at Santa Cruz High particularly for his advocacy for Queer rights when an incident occurred last year in which 3 adults demanded that the Rainbow Flag be removed from the flag pole on the Day of Silence. Ralph staunchly refused such a removal of the Rainbow Flag because it would impede on the rights of the Queer students. That evening he stood before the Santa Cruz City School Board with 2 youth leaders to describe what a success the school's Day of Silence had been. This school year Ralph was valuable in efforts to train the staff in a Safe Schools training conducted by the ACLU of Northern California. The students at Santa Cruz High are fortunate to have an advocate for Queer rights like Ralph as their principal.

And you wonder why Students aren't learning, they have all this Pagan, self-centered garbage pushed on them instead of using quality time for teaching real subjects;

U.S. lawmakers never meant to enable teachers or school officials to use the anti-harassment legislation as a tool for promoting homosexuality through the public education system. Nevertheless, Dacus asserts, it is happening and cannot be ignored. "Parents need to wake up," he says, "and they need to realize that public education can actually be a very harmful, very damaging thing for their children if they're not careful." BTTT

Attorney Claims Lesbian Teachers Using Schools to Push Homosexual Lifestyle Can't be. Greta said just the other night that the schools were full of middle-aged female pedophiles, preying on 13 year old boys.
Sheesh.
