CANDLELIGHT VIGIL TO
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
PROTEST THE HANGING OF
US SOLDIER IN EFFIGY
Move America Forward Announces Candlelight Vigil to Support Our Troops in Sacramento Neighborhood Where a U.S. Soldier Has Been Hanged (Again) in Effigy
(SACRAMENTO) The national organization that supports our troops and the war against terrorism, Move America Forward (website:
www.MoveAmericaForward.org), has announced a candlelight vigil (7-10 PM on Tuesday evening) to support our troops and to protest the hanging of a soldier in effigy by a couple that resides part-time in the Sacramento area.
The anti-war display hung at the home of Steve and Virginia Pearcy includes a Palestinian and Iraqi flag. This is the second time this week that the couple has hung a U.S. soldier in effigy. Earlier the couple shamefully hung a soldier by a noose with a sign that read Your Tax Dollars at Work. The new sign says Bush Lied. I Died.
Move America Forward supports the right of free speech. However, the right to speak freely does not mean all words or sentiments should be warmly embraced. The hateful messages that undermine our troops should be treated the same as the hate that spews from the likes of KKK members we must step forward and make it clear that these voices of hate do not speak for our greater community, and that we will reject them through peaceful assemblies of the community.
WHAT: Move America Forward will conduct a candlelight vigil to support our troops and register our opposition and disgust with the hateful soldier hanged in effigy display at the home of Steve and Virginia Pearcy.
WHO: Residents of the Sacramento Area who support our brave troops.

This is getting national attention so it is more important than ever that people turn out and support our troops.
We can't let terrorists get the message that American resolve is cracking.

Hey - I can endure a few raindrops (if it is raining at 7:00 PM tonight) if our troops can endure terrorist thugs shooting at them and if the people of 9/11 could endure the Hell they were put through by the Islamo-facists.
To: Gumption
Mainstream media? I don't know. It's been plugged on every TV station here in Sacramento, on the local news talk/talk radio stations, and on the conservative Internet websites.
Tonight it will be featured on Hannity & Colmes with a live camera (unfortunately the camera will be there before the crowd shows up but you might see me since I work with Move America Forward... me and a buddy will be there early - in the rain if need be!!!)

You rock.
My life long dream was to be a meteorologist, but I've been so busy today I've not even hopped on over to the NWS/NOAA page to check the forecast let alone radar image.
You just made my day!

And Melanie Morgan is bringing her peeps (including herself) up from San Francisco Bay Area to "apologize" for their embarassing by-product and to join the vigil in support of the troops.

Uh oh....
Check out that radar image loop.
The rain is not moving from north to south.
But south to north.
We're going to get rained on all evening. uggggh

That's the beauty of it! Using their usual tacticts right back in their faces, without holding hands and singing "We Shall Overcome," and "Cumbuyah," and all that silly liberal stuff!!!
Syncro! Mrs. Wasp got all mixed up listening to Melanie Morgan yesterday and thought it was last night! We called a friend who lives in Sacto and met him in front of the place!!!
Looks like we're going back again tonight to help fill up space on the tube and help Iraq and America's military make the world safe, NOT for democracy, but for Republics that use the democratic PROCESS!!!
Will we see you there?

But south to north. That is movement along the frontal boundary. The front is moving to the east. It is kinda of an illusion.

...it is more important than ever that people turn out and support our troops. What kind of local response have you been getting? I hope lots of FReepers are out there when I watch on Hannity and Colmes so I can see you guys and feel a part of what you are doing! Well, I am proud of what you are doing whether or not I see you on TV! Wish I could be there in person, but CA is a loooong way from me!

I hope your right.
My eyes see too much new formation of rain on the western side of the rain band as it moves north.
I'm praying for a break - and there isn't anything I can do at this point. So if it rains, I'll be one proud, wet FReeper with an umbrella and a candle.
