Jesus replied; "Love the Lord your God with all your heart
And with all your soul and with all your mind."
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it:
"Love your neighbor as yourself."

Dear Heavenly Father, we once again come before You to worship and bow down before You, our Lord, our God, our Maker. We acknowledge that we are sinners who can only approach You through the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we confess any sin that might impede our perfect communion with You.

We ask for Your strength and help for our President, dear Lord, and ask that You help him to love You with all his heart and soul and mind. We see in him the love You have implanted in his heart for others, and we thank You that Your love shines through him. We can see as children reach out to him, that they sense his kindness and gentleness, and know that the fruit of the Spirit in him is not of his own nature, but of Your presence in his life. We ask that he might remain humble before You, and obedient in all things. Father, help him to listen every moment of every day for Your voice in the din of voices around him. Speak to his advisors, and guide them in what they say, but in the end, O Lord, we pray that he might know with surety the path on which You are leading him. Keep him disciplined in reading Your word and in prayer, and give him the health and strength required for the great task before him.

Father, we continue to pray for Laura as well, that You might help her to be the kind of wife outlined in Proverbs; of noble character, bringing him good and not harm all the days of her life. We pray that You would help them both to grow in grace and knowledge, and in purity of thought and deed. Bless and protect them, and their family during the coming months and years.

Father, we lift up again to You, the brave members of our military who are serving in harm's way. We continue to hear tales of heroism, courage, and selfless love from the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan, and we are thankful that You have given us such brave men and women to help keep us safe and free. Be a real presence among them, and for those who know You as Lord and Savior, we ask for boldness of spirit in being a witness to Your love. We ask for comfort and healing for the wounded, and guidance for the doctors' hands as they repair broken bodies. Help them also to be strong of soul and mind as they recover from their wounds. Wrap Your arms of love around the families of those who have fallen, we pray, and give them strength and comfort.

Finally, dear Lord, we pray for this nation, that You would send the flames of a great revival upon us. Speak to and through Your children here, and give us the courage to spread the news of Your great love and sacrifice for us. We pray for those in authority over us as You have commanded us to do; our national, state and local leaders, that they would seek Your will, and not their own. We thank You for this time of praise and worship and fellowship, in the name of Jesus, our Savior we pray, Amen!

We Thank You for Your Mercy, and for Your Eternal, Unfailing Love!

Praise You, Dearest Master, for the Wonderful President You have Granted to our America! We can't ever Thank You enough, Kind Father, that You Ordained one of our own brothers to that Most Awesome Office! We Beseech that You will be his Counsellor and Guide, Your Holy Spirit Speaking in his Thoughts, Words, and Deeds. Bring before him, Sovereign Lord, Conservative Judges who will Roll Back the Liberal Judges and their Iniquity. Restore our Judiciary to Righteousness, O Lord, and Turn our America back to King Jesus again!

We Plead for the Continual Safety of our Military, and for Peace and Salvation to Rain Down upon Israel. We Lift Up everyone who Comes Here to Pray, Imploring Thy Help for the Hurting and the Wounded. Grant them Christ, O Father my King, Replacing Guilt and Sorrow with Peace, Joy, and Life. Meet every Need of anyone Crying Out to You, and be Glorified in Your Work, Great Savior of all men.

AMEN OHIO AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE,BLESSINGS AND PEACE TO ALL BRETHREN!

Ps 27:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be
confident.
(NKJV)

"I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content."
- Philippians 4:11

These words show us that contentment is not a natural propensity of man.
"Ill weeds grow apace." Covetousness, discontent, and murmuring are as
natural to man as thorns are to the soil. We need not sow thistles and
brambles; they come up naturally enough, because they are indigenous to
earth: and so, we need not teach men to complain; they complain fast
enough without any education. But the precious things of the earth must be
cultivated. If we would have wheat, we must plough and sow; if we want
flowers, there must be the garden, and all the gardener's care. Now,
contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it
must be cultivated; it will not grow in us by nature; it is the new nature
alone that can produce it, and even then we must be specially careful and
watchful that we maintain and cultivate the grace which God has sown in
us. Paul says, "I have learned ... to be content;" as much as to say, he
did not know how at one time. It cost him some pains to attain to the
mystery of that great truth. No doubt he sometimes thought he had learned,
and then broke down. And when at last he had attained unto it, and could
say, "I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content,"
he was an old, grey-headed man, upon the borders of the grave-a poor
prisoner shut up in Nero's dungeon at Rome. We might well be willing to
endure Paul's infirmities, and share the cold dungeon with him, if we too
might by any means attain unto his good degree. Do not indulge the notion
that you can be contented with learning, or learn without discipline. It
is not a power that may be exercised naturally, but a science to be
acquired gradually.
We know this from experience.
Brother, hush that murmur, natural though it be, and continue a diligent
pupil in the College of Content.

C.H.SPURGEON!

CHAPTER XIV.
Of Saving Faith.
I. The grace of faith, whereby the elect are enabled to believe to the saving of their souls, is the work of the Spirit of Christ in their hearts; and is ordinarily wrought by the ministry of the Word: by which also, and by the administration of the sacraments, and prayer, it is increased and strengthened.

II. By this faith, a Christian believeth to be true whatesoever is revealed in the Word, for the authority of god himself speaking therein; and acteth differently, upon that which each particular passage thereof containeth; yielding obedience to the commands, trembling at the threatenings, and embracing the promises of God for this life, and that which is to come. But the principle acts of saving faith are, accepting, receiving, and resting upon Christ alone for justification, sanctification, and eternal life, by virtue of the covenant of grace.

III. This faith is different in degrees, weak or strong; may be often and many ways assailed and weakened, but gets the victory; growing up in many to the attainment of a full assurance through Christ, who is both the author and finisher of our faith.

"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever Amen"

Dear Jesus, may our President Bush feel Thy protection in all his endeavors concerning the citizens of our country and of the world. May he forever seek Thy guidance and abide by them. As he speaks of his plans for social security may the young citizens pay heed, as he does have the best intentions for their future. May they not be swayed by those who think otherwise......Continued humble prayers for our service men and women as they continue a watchful eye over the Iraq situation. Patience to the spouses and family, and may the Lord watch over them...In Jesus' name we pray

Amen, Ohio. We bless You, Lord, because we know that Your love never fails for You are Love. As our President chooses to walk in love, we know that he will never fail because it is always Your way and Your victory. Thank You for developing that love to a greater measure, Father.

amen.
