Oh, didn't you hear? Just this morning, Mr Goss and the others just announced that they have brilliantly decided that al Qaeda may be using the Mexican route. They are going to look into it for a few years, then come to some sort of recommendation.

The links don't work, but it looks like it may be a problem over at the Washington Times' website. They're showing yesterday's headlines - I assume this one's from today's print edition?

Great - even Kerry had a "plan". Maybe they can get a committee to study it.

By that time, al qaeda can blow up our country.

This is unreal.

Fox News did a documentary interviewing a Border Patrol man and his wife (last year), who live in a trailer right on this side of the fence.  They are BEGGING for our government to send help down to them, ANY kind of help.  Even if is our  National Guards.

Night after night, the Border patrol and his wife wearing night goggles take pictures for proof.  Thousands are coming across in hordes.  And that IS night after night. Fox News even showed the video tapes that the Border and his wife have been  taking of these people jumping the fence and running.

The Fox Newsman (I forget his name.  He has the gray hair, is tall, thin with a long thin face), spent the night with this couple, also using night goggles to watch for himself.

The next morning, they walked about the yard.  She said that they are NOT all Mexican's.  That they have found the books of the Koran and prayer rugs dropped in haste as the people jumped the fence and ran on into our Country.

She showed the rugs and the books to the Fox Newsman.  It was horrifying.

What with all the Mosque's in our Country, what better shelter for the terrorists to find shelter?  They are here, people.  Scattered all over the United States.

Here is an updated map of where all the Mosque's are.  Look and weep for our Country.

"This is an amazing book. Brilliantly argued and meticulously documented, this book contains a devastating expose of the murderous deceit behind contemporary apologists for militant Islam--in the media, political arena, academia and "mainstream" radical Islamic groups. Read this book to learn why Islamic extremism is dangerously entrenched within the institutional Islamic leadership in Saudi Arabia and the United States."
-- Steven Emerson, author of American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us and Director of the Investigative Project

Goss fears WMD attack in U.S. 'a matter of time'

By Bill Gertz
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Senior U.S. intelligence leaders told Congress yesterday that "it may only be a matter of time" before terrorists try to use weapons of mass destruction against the United States.
In his first public appearance since becoming CIA director in September, Porter J. Goss used the annual worldwide threat hearing to issue the prediction, while another federal official said the FBI knows little about al Qaeda sleeper cells such as the September 11 terrorists.
"It may be only a matter of time before al Qaeda or another group attempts to use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons," Mr. Goss told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III testified that he is "very concerned" about the lack of data on a network of al Qaeda "sleeper" cells in the United States.
"Finding them is a top priority for the FBI, but it is also one of the most difficult challenges," he said.
"Because of al Qaeda's directed efforts this year to infiltrate covert operatives into the U.S., I am also very concerned with the growing body of sensitive reporting that continues to show al Qaeda's clear intention to obtain and ultimately use some form of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear or high-energy explosives material in its attacks against America," Mr. Mueller added.
In a related development, a National Intelligence Council (NIC) report made public yesterday stated that terrorists have targeted Russian nuclear weapons storage sites.
In 2002, Russian authorities twice thwarted terrorist efforts to monitor nuclear-weapons storage sites, the report said. Chechen terrorists also have conducted surveillance of Russian rail stations and a train used to move nuclear bombs, said the report from NIC, an analysis group under Mr. Goss.
The report noted that Russian authorities could not have recovered "all the [nuclear] material reportedly stolen."
"We assess that undetected smuggling has occurred, and we are concerned about the total amount of material that could have been diverted or stolen in the last 13 years," the report said.
Asked by Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV, West Virginia Democrat, about the report, Mr. Goss said he could not say whether terrorists had stolen nuclear material from Russian nuclear facilities.
Vice Adm. Lowell Jacoby, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told the subcommittee that al Qaeda has said that it wants to conduct an attack "exceeding the destruction" of the September 11, 2001, strikes, raising fears about the terror organization's use of chemical, biological and nuclear arms.
Adm. Jacoby said al Qaeda and other terrorists are likely to use deadly biological weapons, such as ricin or botulinum toxin, or industrial chemicals.
Mr. Mueller said the United States is "awash" in potential terrorist targets, including the White House, the Capitol, nuclear power plants, mass-transit systems, bridges and tunnels, shipping and port facilities, financial centers and airports.
An attack on such targets "would cause both mass casualties and a crippling effect on our economy," Mr. Mueller said.
Sen. Pat Roberts, Kansas Republican and the committee chairman, said after the hearing that al Qaeda's use of weapons of mass destruction is a major fear.
"It's probably our biggest worry," he said.
Coast Guard Adm. James Loy, who was acting homeland security secretary until Tuesday's swearing-in of Michael Chertoff, told the committee that recent information showed "al Qaeda has considered using the Southwest border to infiltrate the United States."
"Several al Qaeda leaders believe operatives can pay their way into the country through Mexico, and also believe illegal entry is more advantageous than legal entry for operational security reasons," Adm. Loy said.
Other threats outlined during the Senate hearing included the growing danger of North Korea's nuclear program and its export of missiles and other weapons, and Iran's drive for nuclear weapons.
Mr. Goss said the Iranians think nuclear weapons are a matter of national pride and are motivated in part by Pakistan's acquisition of such arms.
Adm. Jacoby said the Iranians want to deploy nuclear arms as a regional deterrent force. Unless its program is curbed by international controls, Tehran likely will be able to produce nuclear weapons by the early 2010s, he said.
Adm. Jacoby also said North Korea is not expected to give up all of its nuclear arms capabilities even if an agreement is reached with Pyongyang.

The first attempt on the WTC was in 95 I believe. Six years later they succeeded. It has only been 3 years since 911. Anyone that has become complacent is a fool. The real threat will come from the screaming of the MSM that Bush has failed when the next terror attack happens. They are salivating for it already. It is our job when that time comes to expose their obvious glee to the electorate, they will be unable to help themselves and we should be ready for that.

This problem is huge and for some reason, someone is trying to keep it under the rug.  The MSM just teases about the border information.  They "might" be here.  "Some" believe that they are already here, etc.

As we can see by the map, we have plenty living among us now.  I guess the Muslim's don't want this map to be put on TV for fear of more uprising's around the United States.  But I believe we are facing a huge problem here.

Most of the Mosque's in the US are good and decent people.  But with all big families, there are black sheep.  And the terrorist coming across the borders night after night.......what better places to find refuge then with their own kind?

well, if America is overrun by Mexican immigrants, as seems to be the concensus, what excuse is there for being unfamiliar with their characteristics (apart from the taboo of profiling)?

Maybe it's me -- but I don't think so -- but it seems one would have to blind and mute to confuse a Mexican with an Arab. And you can tell me all the reasons I'm wrong, but I assure I couldn't mix the two up if I wanted to.

What can they do to prevent it? Nothing. Why? Because that is the Catch, Catch 22. That nifty little corner the liberals in this country have painted us into.

On the one hand you have the 9/11 commish that amounted to no more than a political tool to blame Bush for 9/11. That panel made reccomendations etc, many of which Bush had already enacted, i.e. tougher interrogation techniques. On the other hand, you have the ACLU, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy etc. who will blast Bush for not enacting the reccomendations of the 9/11 commish, while at the same time decrying the erosion of our civil liberties due to the Patriot Act, cry about Abu Grahib and Gitmo and generally undermine (terrorists have constitutional rights) the changes the President has made to try and make us more secure. CLOSE THE BORDER!?!?! Absoultely, but you can bet faster than you can say ACLU, the ACLU will file a lawsuit in the Ninth Circus getting such an action declared unconstitutional.

All the time, Teddy, Johnny and the rest high five each other because if there is no attack, they can decry the erosion of our civil liberties while relying on the judiciary to erode the protections Bush has enacted to make us safer, and if there is an attack, they can decry that Bush did nothing to protect us and distracted us in Iraq. Its a cute little political tool, but basically frags the citizens of this country.

Mark Levin is spot on, make the Judiciary a co-equal branch of the government again, and this insanity stops.

When the fit hits the shan, it's going to be up to each of us to protect ourselves.
Establish communication lines with friends, and BUY GUNS!
When a major incident occurs, the sale of guns and ammo will be banned to forestall an all out religious war.

So let them file a lawsuit--that doesn't mean that they will win. In a post 911 world we can't afford to skimp on the nation's security because we are afraid to take the fight to the ACLU. The (legal) citizens of this country will back the president if he stands and fights for our security. However, if he does not change his position on illegal immigration and border security his support will evaporate if there is another attack that could have been thwarted if we had at least attempted to control our borders.

I can tell the difference myself. The Mexican brothers I spoke of who are Arab looking . . it's mainly due to "sharper" features of the Spaniard rather than Mexican.

Iguess my point would be that not everyone can tell the difference. Anyone who has met or been around a Purebred Spaniard, Arab and Mexican may learn the sometimes subtle differences between them, if they are interested in that sort of thing.

It is my belief that the majority of the population has no idea of racial differences, and in fact, run from them or deny them for fear of seeming "racists".

My point was that the activist judiciary, like the Ninth Circus, ensures a win. It is a partnership between the left and the courts brokered by the ACLU. Really, all the Ninth circus does is rubber stamp whatever the ACLU brings in front of it. Otherwise, I completely agree that the border and illegal immigration is a matter that Bush is out of touch on.

I heard a week or so ago that Steve Emerson is receiving death threats. I wondered about that.

He's been getting threats for years, since long before 9-11. I read an interview with him long ago, in the mid to late 90s, he wouldn't even let the reporter know where his office was at that time. They met someplace else.

He's a very brave man, to do what he's been doing since the early 90s or before.

I remember first seeing him on probably cnn in maybe 94, talking about the moslem/terror infiltration of the US, and I couldn't believe that no one in Washington was paying attention to him then. He has been trying for a long time to get our govt to listen, and it wasn't until 9-11 that they finally had to face the problem.
