EXCELLENT point. That's the one thing that will need to be addressed when these puke puddles ooze their way across the border. They want their little Socialist paradise? Fine. But, it must come with the caveat that, if they are voluntarily expatriating themselves for the reason of political incompatibility with their former countrymen, they forfeit any further right to participate in the domestic democratic process for as long as they reside on foreign soil.

From what I've heard on the many news reports about people leaving the country (and the media like to make it sound like the best and brightest are all leaving and America is sunk without them-bah!) at least some of these people are talking about getting Canadian citizenship and making sure they never again have to pay taxes here or be called an American. They want Canadian passports. If so, obviously that takes care of the voting issue.

A recent TV broadcast in Alberta highlighted the desperate need for more than 40 electricians, welders, meat cutters and construction workers in rural communities throughout the province.

LOL, these are exactly the kind of people who won’t be coming. I rather expect professional students, mediocre artist, screeching feminist and various other forms of perpetual adolescents.

They should all go to Nelson, BC where we dumped our refuse last time around.
