However, three different news source fit together to give us the rather specific picture of the incident. Providing they aren't all feeding off each other. I have to wonder how the purported shooter got a gun into KJI's presence, given his well-known paranoia.

Kim's regime is going down. While this Jang probably wants to take the "throne" I don't think he will. If Kim is actually toppled methinks that that will be a catalyst to the eventual fall of the Communist regime (with a little help from China or the US, perhaps??)

Many top elites are drawn from relatives of Kim's. Blood connection is supposed to ensure loyalty. However, in light of incidents like this, it is obvious that it has its limits as well. Too bad for Kim Jong-il.:)

Kim Jong-Il must have used his ability to see the matrix, and slowed down time to the extent that he was able to dodge the bullet. The he used his master level martial arts skills to personally subdue his brother in-law, followed by the Vulcan Nerve Pinch, to knock him unconscious so he could be taken for interrogation. Which will be personally performed by Il.
