Thanks, and may God bless you and yours.
ABC reporters are too busy giggling like school girls when they say "log" and "cabin" and then "republicans".
That ought to get the fairies' panties in a twist.
You don't agree with all the Pope has done? Fine.
But don't spread scandal about him. Your comments make those who are not Catholics less likely to join the Faith.
I'm sure members of other religions would not like it if one of their members bashed their church's leader for a matter that is outside of faith and morals.
The Pope is the leader of the Church and he will make many mistakes in his job, just like anyone running that large of an organization would. You are supposed to obey him regardless if you are really are a Catholic.
Once you realize that Ultima Ratio is a schismatic (he's separated from the Roman Catholic Church,) it becomes clear why he has a fixation on ranting about JPII.
Your first take was correct. JPII's a man's man and a Catholic's Catholic.
We will miss him--except for the schismatics.
I got kicked off a thread on the SSPX for bashing it yesterday.
Please don't use this thread on the Pope to bash him and promote the SSPX. (your posts implies that you are with the group)
The Pope is right! About this. :-)
Written in 1993. That explains it. Not many people in 1993 knew that there was a worldwide Muslim terrorist threat that was growing. Not even the Pope. Even though there had already been several attacks, hostages taken, etc, at that point. Not many peopole had any idea of the scope of it.
The Pope is no Mahoney, Kasper or Weakland. Once again, the Pope defends fully orthodox Catholic teaching, and all you can do is slander the Holy Father. What kind of a faithful Catholic does that?
I pray our Church hears this... better yet.. all Christians listen to his wise words... God keep him and bless us with his presence for years to come...
Since he is a doctor and pro-abortion, the question arose during the primaries. He didn't admit that he had, but he was so coy in his answer that most people assumed that was what he was trying not to say.
Homosexual marriages are part of "a new ideology of evil" that is insidiously threatening society... perhaps more insidious and hidden, which attempts to pit human rights against the family and against man...
The Pope is spot on. It's been part of a well planned and well funded campaign designed by homosexual activists.
An excerpt from " In Their Own Words: The Homosexual Agenda"
"Homosexual activist Michelangelo Signorile, who writes periodically for The New York Times, summarizes the agenda in OUT magazine:
...to fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely, to demand the right to marry not as a way of adhering to society's moral codes, but rather to debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution... The most subversive action lesbian and gay men can undertake --and one that would perhaps benefit all of society--is to transform the notion of family entirely." "Its the final tool with which to dismantle all sodomy statues, get education about homosexuality and AIDS into the public schools and in short to usher in a sea change in how society views and treats us."

The Pope is fully orthodox on teachings of the faith. He has not derogated one iota from the teachings of the Real Presence, the sacrifics of the Mass or the dogmatic teachings of the Council of Trent. Once again you are to great public scandal trying to publicly tear down a fully orthodox Pope and tear down the Catholic Church and promote your schismatic, uncanonical, legitimate magisterial authority-rejecting parallel structures.
I didn't bring up the SSPX. I talked about St. Pius X, a recognized and Sainted Pope (one of two in 8 centuries) of the Catholic Church. I wish JPII had been in his mold as opposed to the mold of John XXIII.
If you read what I posted, you'll see that I said, no one is in disagreement with his "better late than never" statement.
It's not to bash him that I bring this up. It's to bring these "Whoo HOOO! RAh Rah Rah! JPII! People a little perspective on what they should be expecting from a strong Pope. They are ready to present him with a medal for saying these words that everyone who knows the commandments could figure out.
If in a few days the Vatican has leaks and prelates undermining and backpedaling on the issue. It will be a bitter disappointment for those who think "he's really taking it to the streets now!"
The same old tired lies, over and over again. You never stop in your crusade of hate against the Catholic Church. The Pope has condemned indifferentism and syncretism. You attribute to him heterodox views the Pope has never taught and has specifically denounced. You NEVER mention Dominus Iesus. And if he has made prudential misjudgments, that does not take away his legitimate authority. By your logic, Luther and Calvin were perfectly justified in rebelling from the Catholic Church because of Renaissance era abuses.
Thank you
The infallible voice of the all knowing magisterial ultima ratio.
This is where the selective memory begins. Who appointed Kaspar? Who appointed Mahoney? Who appointed Weakland and refused his resignation after his homosexual lover extorted $400,000.00 of the nickels and dimes of the faithful?
Who is the one man in the world that could've done something about these parasites on the Bride of Christ and instead did nothing?
