I haven't read his book, nor do I intend to; I gave up on pro baseball a long time ago. However, I did listen to Hannity's interview of Canseco yesterday and I suspect that the allegations of steroid and drug use are not the only thing that have some of his [now former] friends in an uproar. Apparently, Canseco states in his book that the only married player that he knew that wasn't cheating on his wife was Roger Clemens (good for him); even his own wife, he alleges, was messing around with Tony Gonzalez.
"Oh baby, I never hung around with Jose. I always hung around Clemens because he was such a good guy, and he never cheated on his wife. Like me."
Heard that. Just before he mentioned this he was bragging about all the women throwing themselves at the ballplayers and admitted he cheated with them. Called them "road beef". But when he found out his about wife he was going to kill himself because of her cheating. It was ok for him but not her I quess.
