Yes, I saw that! Another example of the mayor kissing-@ss to his politically correct liberal friends. "Freedom of speech" should not be used to undermine our war effort, not to mention our many successes in Iraq and Afghanistan thanks to the U.S. and our allies, different ideas are fine and welcomed, but to demoralize our troops -- that's treasonous.

Yes, that's what the Supreme Court ruled in 1919 in the Schenck v. U.S. case, in which Socialist Party Secretary Charles T. Schenck had used "free speech" and "symbolic speech" rights to include urging young men to resist the WWI draft. The court said such actions were a "clear and present danger" to national security.
