The UN and their globalist allies ( many of whom infest the US government ) have made no secret of their desire to reduce world population to "sustainable levels". The affirmation of perversions is but one method at their disposal.

They've gained a great deal of ground and have no intention of backing off.

I know it is the theme of a few science fiction novels for "the powers that be" to encourage homosexuality as a way to curb population growth so your mark is not far off at all. I do say though that sometime in the future, there will be a showdown between us and them much like the Clantons vs. the Earp Bros and Doc Holliday.

Agreed, of course. If you look at most of the worst problems of today: AIDS, poverty, crime etc. they can be attributed to the breakdown of morals larely caused by secular humanism. I just get a little peeved when Christians focus on homosexuality.

Well, as long as we are all setting up ourselves in holy righteousness by calling out the homosexuals, guess we'd best call out the adulterers, thieves, liars, murderers and all the rest. In God's eyes, homosexuality carries no more weight than pride.

Yes, that's true. However, can you tell me where adultery, thievery, lying, and murder are being taught by activist organizations ( with taxpayer funding in many cases ) as normal and acceptable to children as young as kindergarten age? Are there childrens' books entitled Heather Has Two Adulterers being read to kids in elementary schools across the nation? Are cities raising mulitcolored flags in honor of adulterers, thieves, liars, murderers?

This is not about 'casting stones'; it is a fight against an evil plague that is destoying our children and our culture. Since 1970, homosexual activists have executed a well planned, well funded campaign to promote homoseuxality as normal. We will contiue to expose this evil and fight against it.

On the other hand a society that looks down on and chastises homosexuality will cause those who are indeed homosexual based on genetic factors to 'hide' their identity and unfairly opress homosexuals.

Christians didn't start gay pride parades.

If there were adultery pride parades and fornicator pride parades there might be more news about the blatant attempt to rewrite morality about adultery.

In fact, I think there was a lot of noise about this in the 1960s, I was just too young to pay attention to it. The libertarians laughed then and we are all paying the price now.

Homosexual sex is just one of many many sins. If you read on from Romans 1, it is clear that we are all guilty of something- rebellion, self righteousness/pride, trying (and failing) to keep the law, unbelief, unrighteousness and evil of every kind. That is why no one can boast ; there is nothing we can do to be acceptable, we can only be justified by the blood of Christ. Rom5:9.

That said, there is also a major battle at hand. Our hearts are all wicked and corrupt and we are in desperate need of Jesus the Savior. There is also an enemy in the world, the enemy of our souls, the enemy of the cross of Christ, who lies and seeks to kill and destroy and entice people into rebellion against God. This battle is spiritual and rages in many areas of our culture currently, for example youth culture, marriage, homosexual agenda, abortion, education and even in the churches...

Homosexuality is at the proverbial 'bottom of the barrel', which means that when we begin discarding/liberating ourselves from moral principles, we begin sliding towards the bottom. Using homosexuality as the standard by which we measure our downward slide, we see that we are very nearly there.
