I was sexually harrassed by an HR rep at my old company. When I finally got sick of it and reported him to management, I was told that he didn't fit the profile of someone who would do that because he was married, had kids, and was active in church.

Under the "news" section I found an address you can click on and people can send money to the website administrator for the purpose of helping Charlie Otero start a new life.
Charlie was released from prison in January (domestic violence) and is trying to make a fresh start.
Think of Charlie's situtaion - and then remember the children BTK changed forever with his ridiculous pursuit for fame and "glory"

He even lied to himself - convinced himself he was a "hunter"
I don't know many hunters who brag about bagging a fawn - or getting enjoyment out of the fawn's suffering.
If BTK were really some bad'ass hunter, you'd think he would have gone after more bucks.

Thank you for your kind plea to help Charlie Otero. How can this bastard Rader ever face his own children? Now they are his victims too. Rader is worse than a "loser", he is a destroyer.
You're right - I just have a hard time giving him enough credit for such a grandiose name.
He is a pathetic weany.
He gets a degree in criminal law (or criminology?) which should have secured him in a law enforcement occupation.
Instead he became a grass measurer and dog catcher.
Harassing his neighbors and filming their homes.
All the while he taunted the police - probably because he wasn't good enough to be one of them.

His son is in the Navy and training to be a submariner. He is refusing to speak with the media. And I think I read somewhere that the daughter's DNA was tested without her knowledge. It wasn't as if one of them suspected something and went in to police. I feel so sorry for his wife. If she genuinely didn't know was up this must have been a terrible blow for her.

He probably failed the psych evalutaion and that is how we wound up as a compliance officer.

*Looks are so deceiving - his face belongs on a cookie jar, a jar that looks like a pudgy chef. Also, supposedly Rader is a Viet Nam vet. Will he claim post traumatic syndrome?

Hmm, heard on the news last night that they'd tied a couple more murders to BTK, or that he'd confessed to a few more. Wonder what his pastor has to say now. A few days ago, his pastor had nothing to say to the families of BTK's victims, but confined himself to not throwing the first stone at Rader. A little more balance would have been nice. But maybe he did mention the crimes and how horrific they were, how terrible for the families, that the church would be praying for them...and that bit ended up on the cutting room floor.
I was just going to agree with you, then I reread the post and realized you were me. (I wrote this a few days ago.) Well, I'm still right. Anyone who measures neighbors' grass with a ruler has more than a few screws loose. I'm planning to turn my lawn into moss this year; I'm sick of mowing grass.
Sounds as if Rader is a psychopath, and people like that can compartmentalize their lives surprisingly well. They manage a normal work existence and confine their nuttiness to off hours or whatever is the focus when they're 'correcting' things, so those who know them superficially think they're normal.
Not that my former next door neighbor was a psychopath, certainly not...but he was a control freak. He and his wife had five children, boys and girls -- teenagers. One summer his wife mentioned they were driving to Canada, where they intended to go camping for a few weeks. This trip was to take five hours. I laughed and said how would they manage to stay sane, five hours in a station wagon with five teenagers? I stopped laughing when she said that was no problem. The kids would sit silently for the entire trip since they were all terrified of their father. She was dead serious, but didn't divorce him until all the kids were grown and out of college and she'd retired from teaching with a pension large enough to make it on her own.
A Commie, A junkie, and a jug eared bumbler. Why not throw in a callous mass murderer to complete the Dem dream list of presidential candidates ? Is he Pro Choice??

I have been looking for ONE WORD that the pastor may have offered in support of the victims and their families.

I am very disappointed at this pastor's insensitivity.
He has the nerve to inform us all that good 'ole Denny was "relieved" he was not being ousted from his position on the board. But not ONE WORD for the victims and their families.
This is a sure-fire way to empty the pews at his church.
Does anyone REALLY CARE that Denny was "relieved"?

I always figured whoever BTK was, he was more than likely either mentally very crazy, or there was a very specific reason for his crimes. I still do not know which it is.
