So if this judge denies the feeding tube, then the appeals court gets it immediately?

Homicide by judiciary.

Clinton-appointed judge lets her die while twiddling his thumbs.

If it was a murder-rapist about to be put to death, he would have stopped it already.

ON one of FOX broadcasts on this they screwed up and showed a Q/A with a hispice nurse where Terri is. She came right out with it.

She stated starving people in hospice goes on ALL the time. Hospice though is typically reserved for the terminally ill not people like Terri who are just brain damaged.

The latest story had this line in it:

"David Gibbs II, attorney for the parents, said the judge had sent a message saying he was reviewing the filings in the case."

Keep praying. God-Willing, help is only a few hours away.

not at all, but you were clearly using inflammatory wording hoping to incite a response. that is not remotely necessary. i have very good friends on the other side of this issue, and i think that the less flamebaiting that goes on the better for FR. i tend to think that everyone would benefit from a stop to it.

"She's never had a PET scan or an MRI, for Heaven's sake."

Check the Affidavit of Dr. William Hammesfahr -http://www.terrisfight.net/documents/Hammesfahr%20Aff%20060101.pdf

Is he lying or simply incompetant when he says the MRI was misrepresented ?

See http://www.flmd.uscourts.gov/jg__whittemore.htm Florida 13th Contact info, as there is no phone for Whittemore, the Judge. Note: He decided the Sami al-Arian case with the US. By Larry Dougherty THE TIMES - SUNDAY, MAY 23, 1999 Tampa - A Hillsborough Circuit court jury has awarded $1.5-million to a Thonotosassa woman who contended two doctors failed to detect a dangerous infection around her husband's heart. Brian Wilmoth Jr. died in November 1996 at 22 after developing a bacterial infection around his heart, said one of his widow's attorneys, Steve Yerrid. But two Thonotosassa doctors who saw Wilmoth in September of that year attributed his weakened condition to the flu, Yerrid said. Wilmoth had known since he was a teenager that he had a congenital heart defect, one that left him unable to work and eligible for government disability benefits. While neither the defect nor the infection by itself was necessarily life threatening, their combination posed a much greater risk to his health, Yerrid said. Wilmoth was married to Joy E. Wilmoth and had a son, Brian Wilmoth III, who is now 3. Hillsborough Circuit Judge James D. Whittemore presided over the weeklong trial. The jury deliberated three hours and returned its verdict late Friday night.

Well, judges do care because they are human. But they are also fiercely independent and once they know their decision they can be arrogant about criticism. The federal judiciary is good, but don't be fooled into thinking some are not shallow, stupid, ideological, or even corrupt.

I'm not against the independent judiciary and I'm not against this judge making his own best decision.

I do view the judge using up the day on an emergency matter like this to be offensive. When you think emergency, there are few as immediate as this one. It should have been decided early this morning, one way or the other.

What? Some of these Clintoon appointees would love nothing more than to stick it to W and Congress!!

Hopefully he isn't one of them!

... and just what "inflammatory wording" might that be ?

...at least let me know why you are accusing me.

I'm unfamiliar with Alzheimers as far as brain waves and such. But in my moms case, she had a seizure brought on by lung cancer. They told us that they would take a test. EKG i think and that would determine if what made mom, mom, so to speak was gone then we needed to pull the breathing tube. Thankfully God took her before the tests came back. We were glad He made the decision and not us.

"Not being able to "pick" a good, objective judge with no apparent agenda is not good news.... Why wait til 3:00?"

Duh....maybe he's trying to read the FACTS of the case so listen as an informed jurist to any arguments to be made and thus render an OBJECTIVE judgement? Just a thought.

Will that still apply if the federal judge now reviewing the case agrees with the previous 19 judges who have ruled with the husband?

I am aware that the death legions in black robes are on your side, but that point is not related to Greer's in-your-face contempt of Congress ruling Friday. That's what he deserves to be behind bars for.
