Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

MarMema, Greer choose every single date with much thought of the symbolism, it would represent. It's definately not an accident Greer and Felos choose March 18, 2005 as the first day of this Court Ordered Murder. They knew it would run into Good Friday. I fear they may overdose Terri on morhpine at the exact time *they have choosen* for her to die.

Despite the wide acceptance of GHWB's "Americans with Disabilities Act," most Americans, or an increasing number, it seems, are not really "comfortable" around the handicapped and have no interest in saving their lives or getting them therpy. I wonder what GHWB had in mind when he signed that disabilities law. Obviously, it is meaningless (ignored by both his sons in this case) and an unfunded mandate on business.

They have a Trust which really isn't a trust at all. That's where the wards' money is laundered. The person who runs the Trust says that she's not doing anything wrong BECAUSE SHE HAS A COURT ORDER. (from Greer). The Trust funds are never used for the ward because they kill the ward. Somebody gets the trust money but it's not the family members.

Not sure if this would work.

However, maybe Terri Schiavo could be called to 'Jury Duty', or arrested/summoned for something in her past (real or contrived), tickets, violations, whatever, to stop the clock and legally cause a stay of execution, and therefore she would have the rights of a criminal to live and have human rights afforded.

Logic: It is patently clear to anyone who has a brain, that ONLY AS A TERRORIST, AN ANIMAL or A CRIMINAL will suffering Terri have any rights in our perverted society steeped in Judicial Tyranny and Worship of Death, and be prevented from dying. Since the two former ones are impossible, the latter is the only hope perhaps.

There must be something that might have gone on that can be a basis for keeping her alive in the justice system, even if criminal for the time being.

Out side of this, it is another legal appeal (probably will fail), and Gubernatorial or Presidential action--not much time left for that little girl. The internal organs start to fail next.

No, there will be no recall of Greer either, for Pinellas-Pasco people gave him 65 percent just seven months ago. And apparently polls in Pinellas are 3-1 against Terri.

If you are declared incompetent and a guardian, in Greer's case, a professional guardian is appointed, who sells your house worth $200,000 to another lawyer for $100,000 and then bills what is left in legal fees, puts you on medicare. If you are declared incompetent you cannot sign anything, you have no legal rights, you have no credit, you cannot drive a car or even own one. Your professional guardian has total power over you, and the judge collects lots of money in gifts both above and below the table, and lots of "campaign" funds, both above and below the table, and the judge has a solid job paying him more than most people dream of making. I used to regularly visit a nursing home as part of a church group. We would have children with us often, but as the children grew into teenagers, being around the frail older people began to disturb them, and they would stop coming...the reminder of mortality was just too much, I guess.

The same is with people who are sick and handicapped. We don't want to be in that condition so we try to ignore it away...but it is part of the human condition.

Life is God's gift. It's not always joyful, or fun, or pleasant. It is often painful, sad, grieving, HARD. But it's the journey, how we use it, that matters. And that matters whether you are brilliant or simple. It matters that there are people in need for others to care for. It matters that there are people to care for people in need.

Denying it doesn't change the reality.

But it can surely impact our moral choices for the worst.

They may not have to overdose her in order to kill her today. From various sources I have read that they loaded her up with diuretics and laxatives before and as they pulled the tube. That they used an ear patch to deliver a drug which would further dehydrate her.

This has not been a simple dehydration killing, but one that was accelerated with drugs to have it go quickly.

When I read that her skin was splitting open on the 3rd day I was alarmed, because it was way too early for that to have happened without assistance from medication.
