Minutemen to cover larger area of border than originally planned
"One of the organizers of the Minuteman Project has reported that, due to the unexpected number of volunteers that have committed themselves to the mission, even more of the border will be guarded than was originally planned.
In addition to the strip of border between the Huachuca Mtns. and Douglas, AZ, additional volunteers will be deployed in the Columbus, NM area and both east and west of Nogales, AZ."
Yep. I didn't even give him (her?) a peep either. I wonder how long they can stand it before breaking out in some blatant personal attacks? Heh Heh Heh...

I agree. And the way to stop them is for the government to do its job so that these patriots don't have to do it for them.
Imagine if your fire department stopped responding to fire calls. I would be quite grateful and participate in a volunteer fire fighting brigade. Sure, it would be better if professionals handled the problem. But they're not.
Wake up. We're being invaded. Most Americans are too apathetic to do anything about it until the problem reaches critical mass. At that point it's too late.
What are you waiting for? For us to end up with a Kosovo type civil war on our hands?
Are you aware of how many millions of ILLEGAL aliens there are in the United States? What it is doing to health-care (insurance) costs? School districts? Prisons? Social service agencies?
You had better educate yourself about the extent of this problem before you criticize the Patriots who are trying to do something about it.

Thanks for posting that letter. The DOJ could bring RICO to bear on the ACLU for their activities in a number of areas IMHO.
They could if they wanted to, but they don't want to.
They could also secure the border merely by changing their BP tactics, but they don't want to do that either.

I agree with you completely. We need to put a stop to illegal immigration immediately.
You mean the drug runners and illegals?
It'd be great if these guys could find a retired Army or Marine general to help them organize.
I suspect that at least some of the volunteers will be land owners who are sick and tired of getting shot at by drug runners and having their houses broken into by the illegals. I also suspect the organizers will try and get permission from other land owners to traverse their land and perhaps set up spotting locations.
The MM will be doing them a service their tax funded agencys are either unable or unwilling to do. I can't see why they'd object.
I think they would do better with a retired Master Sergeant!
