After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

Here I was thinking "HINO" meant, simply, "Husband in Name Only." I think, now, it can also mean "Human in Name Only" and be applied to others besides Michael.

Someone please explain to me the basis of all those courts ruling in the same direction. They were state, federal, appeals, Supreme. Why didn't just one go the other way?
The second person I'm apt to ring up, in heaven, is Terri. Assuming I make the cut, and predecease my wife and children ;-) I expect to find a line.

No, judge Greer said he thought the bone scan was "interesting" before he dismissed it as not relevant...because, it would be 'relitigating' previously settled matters (or something to that effect).

Great points, Justche. I especially like what you wrote about Moses. I've been praying for the living water of the Lord to be poured into and over Terri. She's a child of God and that living water is in her.
We can't stop praying, even though the circumstances look horrible, but she is still alive and fighting. We are not to look at things in the natural. We have to fight this as a battle in the spiritual realm.

Purely speculation but I would say they were covering for a fellow judge and didn't like the Legislaive and Executive branches of government interfering.

I am more or an old testitment Christan (I know Iknow) so I bounce bewteen being vivid with rage and just feeling sorry for him. It is quite a ride, when I hear or read of her suffering I get very very angry, when I am thinking about what can we do now my anger fades. But, if Terry dies in Fla I will never forget or forgive those that walked away leaving stones unturned.
All decisions by the higher courts were in favor because they only considered the original judgement. Mainly they were concerned about whether the original judge (Judge Greer... *spit*) followed "procedure" or not and whether there was any basis for overturning his ruling on that criteria. Not one court admitted new evidence.
