Jessie Jackson Going Schiavo Hospice At Family's Invitation! (TV camera = Jessie Jackson)
WFTV - Orlando | Live shot from Pinellas Park

Posted on 03/28/2005 8:08:43 PM PST by MindBender26

Steve Barrett reporting that "The Reverend Jessie Jackson has accepted the family's invitation to join the demonstrators outside the hospice where Terri is dying."

1. Is this turning into way too much of a circus?

2. Want to bet the race-baiting poverty pimp invited himself?

You know, sometimes these issues make for strange alliances. I am not wild about all the players here, but I don't think we should criticize anyone who steps up, albeit I wish sooner, and brings some attention to this issue.

When in battle, any weapon is better than none.

It might not help Terri, but it will keep the conversation going - and just might prevent this situation from ever happening again. Or, bring focus on/against the Euthanasia movement that is supporting this and just waiting to use this opportunity for its own advances.

If more people, no matter who, who have any measure of recognition or appeal - anywhere - speak out, it just might enlighten the public about what is really the monster out there - legalized euthanasia.

it would be big fun to watch Jesse Jackson, Larry Klayman, Randall Terry, and Alan Keyes all trying to be the first one to the microphone bank.

They may need to call in an even greater police presence.

You must belong to JJ's campaign to resurrect him.

I heard Jesse Jackson on Scarborough Country. He said all the right things but then turned it into a plea for national health care. This is the reason he is going.

But TerrI isn't Black and as a result there can't be any racism in this issue, so why is Jesse going?

I should think it would be obvious.

"If the cameras are lit, here comes the zit!"

But, as I said elsewhere, it's a rare issue that brings me and the Re'erend Jesse Jackson to the same side of the table, so come on in.

I was surprised when reading about Greer, that he is a Republican. I think this issue crosses party lines a little more than we think.

>>>Jesse thinks Terri's tube should be reinserted. So do Ralph Nader and Joe Lieberman, and (I think) Tom Harkin.

Harkin did come down on the side of life on this one...

Want to bet the race-baiting poverty pimp invited himself?

I would never take that bet, my friend. Mister Jackson is again shamelessly attempting to create an artificial demand for his alleged service.

On a related, but separate issue, I believe that the next time Mister Jackson breaks international law by inserting himself between our foes and our diplomats, we should consider a class action law suit to the tune of billions and billions of $s.

Perhaps. Or perhaps not. I was considering the arguments that each were (or would have) advanced. I believe that Terry's Constitutional arguments were cogent. Jackson would rather wipe his ass with the Constitution. Klayman is an ambulance chasing opportunist, who would ignore the Constitution if he could make a buck in the process.

Now that's going to be an interesting morning; it would be big fun to watch Jesse Jackson, Larry Klayman, Randall Terry, and Alan Keyes all trying to be the first one to the microphone bank.

Odd that there are no clintons in the mix, isn't it?

I hope JJ can help. The odds are very low, of course, but I imagine the parents are desperate to try everything, and rightly so.

And furthermore when Joe Scarborough asked Jesse J about Michael, he said no one is to blame here and then made his remarks to such this could have been prevented if we had national health care. So sad to see many use Terri to further their own agenda.
