LOS ANGELES — Laci Peterson's parents now want to exact an even pricier revenge on their killer son-in-law — to the tune of $25 million.
Sharon Rocha and her husband, Ron Grantski, amended their $5 million wrongful-death suit against Scott Peterson this week, arguing that a larger judgment against him "would send a message . . . that such vicious and outrageous savagery inflicted by one human being shall be met with the severest of civil penalties."

I hope they actually see the money . Unlike so many other cases, such as Ron Goldberg, the families of the victims have not seen a dime.
If the suit is against Scott how would they get anything? Or is it against the family of Scott?
Since the one they want money from is on death row, I doubt he can fulfull their wishes. If he writes a book, they can take whatever he makes from that. But he won't write it himself, so looks like they are going to end up with nothing.

There is no end to the way these scum find their way around the legal system.

Heck, if it were me, I'd rent him out as a "towel boy" in the prison and let him pay the debt, a buck at a time, until he gets the needle.

--> Instead of $, the state should hand peterson over to the family for 24 hours, and let them do what they want with him. Laci's mom could have machine gun practice, and peterson would have to dodge bullets in a swiming pool.
They want to assure that Scott can never profit from his crime..like write a book about it.

IIRC Scott's parents morgaged their house to hire his lawyer .. so I don't know where any money would come from.
True - but OJ had money - I don't think the Petersons do. I could be wrong, but I do know the suit is also to stop Scott from profiting from Laci's death with a book or anything else.
I think the suit requires the money to be paid to Laci's family .. or a trust or ..??
