WASHINGTON -- A federal criminal investigation has uncovered evidence that the government of Pakistan has made clandestine purchases of US high-technology components for use in its nuclear weapons program in defiance of American law. Federal authorities also say the highly specialized equipment at one point passed through the hands of an arms dealer in Islamabad, Pakistan, named Humayun Khan, who they say has ties to Islamic militants.

I am so happy that we sold the F-16s to Pakistan and not India. I feel much safer now.(Sarcasm off) Now if we have to invade Pakistan, they can attack us with our own fighter jets.

I must admit, it was quite shocking to see the upgraded F-16s with sophisticated AMRAAM missiles being supplied to a military dictatorship. But well, mistakes happen.. Condi was new to office, apparently she didnt do much homework on South Asia. Hope, US wouldnt consider arming Pak against India with more advanced weaponry in future.

Every good dog deserves a treat. Musharraf has been good to the US and this was his treat.

this shouldnt be any surprise. the "father" of the pakistani nuclear progam is a metallurgist who worked in holland. he even married a dutch lady to join a dutch company and steal secrets.

these guys are thiefs and thugs. the pakistanis have no qualms in stealing technology and sharing it with the chinese. i am sure the fighter copying machines are being warmed up in chegdu right now.

islam is hardly a religion of peace. historically it is a cult of loot and plunder. the story continues...
