ATLANTA -- The Reverend Jesse Jackson says the death of Terri Schiavo holds some big lessons -- including the importance of a living will, and "family reconciliation.". He says the feud among members of her family was a "huge factor" in her death. ...

Stay out the Bushes
I am in agreement with JJ. This started as a family feud and then went to the conclusion we see today.
Pinellas county, Florida subhuman murderer Judgenfuhrer Greer:
"What a fool he is. I would not have cared if she got up and screamed, "Stop!"
Are you kidding me?? It always boils down to what other people think happened.
But of course! We should asked this ass hat (Jackson) to begin with! ...for he had the answers all along!
I don't think we need lessons from the likes of Jesse.
Hey, Jesse, go back to beating up corporations who you can play the race card on, Rev. Too-Little-Too-Late!
No, the feud was a huge factor in keeping her alive longer than her husband wanted.
As predicted by many, JJ didn't even wait 24 hours or even 12 before he started using the Terri Shiavo situation as an example of the need for universal healthcare.
IMHO he never really gave a damn about Terri or her family and simply used this to further his agenda, as have so many on both sides of this situation by they way.
they way = the way.
Oh, gosh, a matter of time before he would jump on this like it was his idea...
I thought earlier, who cares what we think of folks like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, as long as they are doing their bit to help. Now I'm beginning to wonder.
But there's one hopeful sign in all of this. Blacks are NOT keen on the culture of death. Black politicians support abortion because that's what all good leftists have to do, but I don't believe those 90% of blacks who vote Democrat are all that supportive of abortion and euthanasia. Blacks are used to being victimized, and they wouldn't naturally support the idea of killing people at the pleasure of the government.
Jesse is trying to twist this for his own selfish purposes, as usual. But I believe this is an issue on which Republicans can reach out to blacks and gain their approval and their votes. Jackson and Sharpton sense that, or they would have kept their distance.
Some folks can't live wtihout an enemy so he became the enemy for a lot of people who didn't want to see that Terri had long ago ceased to exist as a functioning person.
The parents slash and burn attacks on Michael got them what in the end. Denied the right to be in the room at the end.
Did it ever occur to them that civility all this time might have served them better?
Anyone who believes that Terri could get better is delusional.
Go right ahead and attack me for my opinion.
Well we all must understand that poor Michael had to "live" with an incapacitated wife for 15 years (at least, to keep all the money he did, because the parents seem to have tried to make a verbal deal before the malpractice trial to give Michael not only his own share of the award, but half of Terri's funds to divorce her and let them take care of her...)
Heaven knows, Jesse has had a hard enought time living with a capacitated wife.
