I Feel Like Taking A Shower After I Listen To Felos (Rush's Strong Stuff Warning Alert)
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | 03/31/05 | Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: Folks, I gotta tell you something. I feel like taking a shower after I listen to this guy. This guy is like a cult leader. This guy is no different than these people, than these cult leaders that get people to go die because they're going to go meet some mother ship 24 million miles away up in outer space. What was the name of that wacko group out in California? I can't remember the name of that group, but we have cult leaders. Jim Jones. They're all over the place, and this -- Heaven's Gate! This guy just comes off, when I hear this guy, I am more convinced than ever that my positions on this, all of our positions on this have been the right ones. When you know that he and so many other people involved in this sat at one time on the board of this hospice and steered Michael Schiavo to this guy. This guy wrote a book. You know he just said? He just got a question from the press -- George Felos, I'm talking about, this lawyer -- he just got a question. The first question the press asked, "You say she died with dignity. How can you say she died with dignity when she was starved to death for two weeks?" and you know what he said? He said, "You don't understand this. She didn't starve from removing the tube. She didn't starve." That's what he said: "She didn't starve." Folks, what in the world happened, then? She was starved. She was denied food and water! The first question this guy got was about how can you say she "died with dignity when she was starved to death for two weeks." "You don't understand," he said. "That is an inaccurate question. Let me explain to you. Let me finish, let me explain to you," and he went on to describe this is what she chose, and you can disagree with the evidence and all.

This guy wrote a book, 2002, Litigation: A Spiritual Practice. Here it is. This is just one excerpt from that book. "Felos describes himself as crusader for the right to die in Chapter 21. He also admits to enjoying his status as a news celebrity, describing it as exhilarating to see himself on TV. On page 217 he writes. 'I was getting pretty good at trying my case in the media and shaping public opinion, developing a good sound bite helped but so did the media's support of the cause. Some of my best quotes appeared on the editorial pages.'" Then there is this. "As Mrs. Browning lay motionless before my gaze I suddenly heard a loud, deep moan and scream and wondered if the nursing home personnel heard it and would respond to the unfortunate resident. In the next moment as this cry of pain and torment continued I realized it was Mrs. Browning. I felt the midsection of my body open; I noticed a strange quality of light in the room. I sensed her soul in agony. As she screamed, I heard her say in confusion, 'Why am I still here? Why am I here?' My soul touched hers and in some way I communicated that she was still locked in her body. I promised I would do everything in my power to gain the release of her soul. With that, the screaming immediately stopped. I felt like I was back in my head again. The room resumed its normal appearance and Mrs. Browning as she had throughout this experience lay silent." He thinks he communicated. His body opened up, his soul communicated to hers. When he assured her that he would get her soul out of her body, she lay quiet. This guy is a cult leader. Now, here's a guy that can communicate with people in persistent vegetative states, by his own admission, in his own book. He says he can communicate with them one soul to another, but the family, of course, couldn't communicate with her. She was in a persistent vegetative state. We're listening to a cult leader here, folks.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: So Felos says the family shouldn't have gone to court; the priest shouldn't have spoken out. Congress shouldn't have acted. The president shouldn't have acted. Governor Bush shouldn't have acted. The only person who should speak and bring suits and act is George Felos. He talks about the "angels of mercy" who were present. I hope they don't show up when I'm around.

"I shouted out,
Who killed the Kennedys?
When after all
It was you and me"

I have never quite understood this line. How is the whole world guilty of the Kennedy assassinations?

Yes and as Christ said 'this one does not come out except by prayer and fasting' a most intractable possession indeed!

Got to agree. This attorney is incredible. Can you know a man by what kind of attorney he hires?

That's some scary shit.

That's not all. Anybody who is worried about the Religious Right imposing their beliefs on this situation needs to read that quote. If a person can't see that Felos has his own spiritual axe to grind (just guess what spirit) then that person is blind. If Felos really believes this, then it makes him a new age occultist - an occultist who just won the legal right for himself and thousands of like-minded followers to kill. Plain old evil is just evil. When in doubt, err on the side of life.

I wonder if the demons of other lawyers had entered Felos? Have any other infamous sleazy lawyers passed away recently?

That Sheriff has since resigned and moved on...

Is this the same guy that Fox interviewed yesterday? I wish I could remember his name. He moved on to become a Florida State Senator and voted against the law that could have saved Terri. He said Greer was a great guy...so I started getting suspicious at that point.

If the intent of the Felos press conference was to make his client not look so bad, it didn't. Felos should have just kept it short. If I was a fence sitter on this, his words would have put me against him and Michael.

BTW; Rush would have said more on this but it was happening live during the last few minutes of his show. Expect more tomorrow.

If George Felos is the son of Satan, the better part of him dribbled out.

You wonder why some people hate lawyers?

I know what you mean but we have some good pro-life lawyers right here on FR. One even in Florida if memory serves.

Felos and Dr. Kavorkian would make a great team...

You forgot John Edwards. He can help with the channeling stuff just to make sure the people REALLY want their souls freed.

Yeah, I heard that "The Judge" had called him into that office behind the bench. Do you think Johnnie was able to take any of that money with him?
