She was disabled, not terminally ill or injured. You people disgust me for supporting the elimination of the weak. This is the same philosophy that drove the Nazi policy of "Dasein Ohne Leben", and the killing of the insane and handicapped.

"She was disabled, not terminally ill or injured."

Even her own parents recognized she was "injured" and apparently in a PVS state up until 2 or 3 years ago.

If Terri's case became a "media circus", that was only a by-product of Terri's family trying to keep her from being murdered by dehydration and starvation. In their short press conference after her death, the siblings were humble, resigned, and conciliatory. Michael Schiavo is being deliberately spiteful and cruel. He had long since violated any "sanctity" in that marriage, and the preservation of innocent life trumps everything, anyway. I agree with you, Ivan, he's a cold-blooded monster. There is no valid reason for him to not allow the family who loved her so much that they were willing to expend so much money and energy to take care of her,to do so. If he'd cared so much about the "sanctity" of that marriage,he wouldn't have lived with or had children with another woman while married to the first wife. Divorce wouldn't have been worse than adultery. He's a cold petty spiteful man.The family can take small comfort in that they did all they could, and that Terri is in heaven, and all he has is her body. The righteous God will see to the rest, in His own way and time.
