When you start releasing information like this, which containing names of people who made the initial reports, people will stop making reports.

Why are you blaming the DCF - they started 2 investigations into Terri's abuse - and the state's attorney general's office SHUT IT DOWN. Maybe you should be blaming the right organization.

This whole thing just reeks of corruption unlike anything I've ever seen.

I kept asking myself why Florida. I've finally decided these PRO-DEATH people love FL because it's full of elderly people who moved there after retirement. WHO's NEXT ..??

Really? I hadn't heard that, but I'd be very interested to see how that plays out.... Obviously not the removal as guardian part as it means nothing now, but to see if any of the abuse stuff is confirmed and proven true...

I'm totally serious when I say this. I was listening to Catholic Radio on March 18 the day they took out Terri's feeding tube. Her lawyer Barbara somebody came out and reported on the Drew Mariani Show that she told Terri "We can end this thing right now if you'll just tell people you want to live." Barbara said "Terri said 'IIII waaaa' and she gave up and started to cry." I don't know why it didn't come out right away. But I and I'm sure thousands of others who were listening to the program that day heard it also. If you don't believe me try visiting the relevantradio.com site maybe you can get a transcript from the show. It comes on at 3:00 pm CST. I think what happened was that Terri's family was out lawyered from the get go.

Rationalize it however you want, but nothing justifies the starvation of a person who is physically healthy

"that might put the right-to-death movement in a bad light"

Not only that - but with the ME's autopsy and the reports from DCF - a whole lotta dots might be connected.

We can't have that - can we?

When the ME wouldn't allow another ME to assist him during the autopsy - and now another judge will not allow the DCF documentation to be made public - I don't like it one bit.

I just can't figure out why these people are protecting the husband - that's the mystery to me.

Maybe no one is protecting the husband. Just doing their job.

90 allegations? So did 90 freepers send in allegations, or were they from people who were actually working with Terri? Since none have been proven, it's hard to tell.

I agree - the left really bit off more than they can chew this time. This backlash will be devastating to the democrats.

I've seen article after article (even outside America) saying this is a tipping point for America.

but a Florida judge ruled yesterday that DCF summaries of those allegations must remain secret.

The judge in question is Judge Greer. No surprise but that should have been mentioned earlier in the article.

Can't the two newspapers seeking to publish the allegations appeal Greer's rulings to a higher court? I don't expect a different answer but that alone would give Greer's behavior more exposure.
