Exactly what was his government status that allowed him access to sensitive material?

Helping to prepare materials/testimony for the 911 Commission.

Did you see the thread earlier with an article written by James Carville?

He wrote an article outlining why the Republican Party is stronger than the Democrat Party, but then listed "survey results" that tried to show the opposite---one of the questions on the survey supposedly showed that if the option was available for both Bush and Clinton to run for Pres. for a 3rd term, Clinton would win!

In other words, a sex abuser, liar, is preferable to a religious "war-monger"....

Clinton should be apologizing to every military person for putting them in this position by being delinquent on the job.

Gimme a Mulligan here folks,

Thomas Jefferson was RIGHT
"We get the Government that we deserve"

Now as far as the other quote, it was JFK at the Whitehouse

"I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

Compared to our Founding Fathers, todays Leadership comes up considerably short, I do believe that just a few short years ago Sandy would have been quietly escorted to the rear of the building and shot, and the report of that weapons discharge would have been heard only by him and the citizen that dispatched him.

This powerful form of Communication seems to have lost favor in our enlightened times, and we suffer for it.

TT

This makes me comepletely ill. I can't believe that he even plays innocent in saying he didn't know because had he REALLY not known, he wouldn't have had to stuff papers in his pants or his socks! His punishment isn't enough. Banned for 3 years??? He should be banned for LIFE.

I didn't think of Vince Foster
(I will however make it a point to ask Saint Peter when we meet, just exactly how Vince made his departure)
Admiral Boorda had more class wrapped up in his belly button lint than Lt Kerry could ever hope to assemble in all of his houses, yachts, cars, friends and like minded political cohorts combined.

Clinton should be apologizing to every military person for putting them in this position by being delinquent on the job.

He should be apologizing to every American and it's allies for teaming up with Carter and selling America out. These two negotiated deals which made them look like heroes at the time, but now we see they were played for chumps. We are now paying the price and may pay even more in the coming few years.

You mean the negotiated deals like the ones that the EU and Russia have made with Iran to supply them with the nuke materials they need to build their weapons to threaten the whole world with?

Those negotiated deals?

Yeah. The US is getting it from both ends, the Clinton legacy and our good buddies abroad. So where do we turn now?

That should read:

Yeah. The US is getting it from both ends, the Clinton legacy and our good buddies abroad.

So where do we turn now?

I forgot to turn off the italics.

People like that (Dems, mostly), don't think rules apply to them, and if they find out the rules *do* apply, then they think (with lots of encouragement from the courts) that they can get off with "I'm sorry."

I guess its like my parents used to tell me growing up--

You just have to learn to rely on YOURSELF and don't expect anyone else to clean up your messes or fix your mistakes..As long as you have you, things will be in your control, which is the safest place.

I guess the good ole US of A needs to rely on OURSELF and don't expect any help from anyone...which is what Bush has pretty much done, but then you get the wussy left like Kerry screaming and hiding under the bed and crying for someone to come "help"....
