Bush Democrats...A detailed look at last year's voting suggests big Republican opportunities.

A treasure trove of data on the meaning of the 2004 presidential election has just been released, and you can bet that if reporters don't look at it carefully, strategists for potential candidates will. The 2004 election numbers may explain why Hillary Clinton is taking care to present herself as a centrist.

"It's no accident that Mrs. Clinton, who will be running for re-election in New York next year before she launches her presidential campaign, is talking about the importance of religious faith and reaching out to moderate voters. "She pores over political data as carefully as Bill Clinton ever did," says New York Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf."

No it won't! The BEAST has the presstitutes in her back pockets and they will jump hoops for her at her command of course! To this day, I've yet to see or hear the mediaWHORES gun her down with difficult questions like they do for all republicans running for office. Sorry folks it ain't gonna happen! The OMwhores are going to shield her of any bad publicity during the presidential elections! They'll get her in there at all cost! Forget about electing a second pope, to these people she is the NEXT SAINTLY POPE!!

"to these people she is the NEXT SAINTLY POPE!!"

The MSM's coverage in 2008 is going to make their treatment of Kerry in 2004 look "fair and balanced." As others have said, they'll be coronating her as Saint Hillary of Ark by 2007.

Already, the NY Times has at least 2 or 3 very positive stories on her a week.

And you can bet your last dollar that Katie Couric and Peter Jennings won't be saying the word "Hillary" without also describing her as a "centrist", a "moderate", or even a "conservative Democrat."

"What would be interesting would be a catalogue of her statements, or lack of, re religion prior to '04 election and afterwards. This will show her true intent."

Hillary's had her eye on the Oval Office since the day that she and Bill left with the furniture.

I suspect that she's been quietly and carefully been building a "record" of statements on this issue, in the same way that she's been criticizing illegal immigration on local radio shows in New York state. Then, when her opponent calls her a "flip-flopper" in 2008, she can pull out a tape from 2002 or 2003.

Hillary's a lot smarter than Kerry.

Interesting data for sure! I see one really big problem for Hillary though. No one who isn't brainwashed believes that she genuinely believes what she is saying now. That is why she is seen to be simply "moving" to the center, trying to get the centrist vote. She is trying to get votes, when most people want to know what she really believes in. Only Hillary will never do that. She can't, she is an extreme left winger who STILL thinks that McCarthy was wrong, that believes that sexual toys are appropriate as Christmas Ornaments on the First Lady's tree, and will do or say anything for power.

Nothing Hillary can do or say is EVER going to change the reality of what and who she is. Only question that remains is : How's she gonna spin it, if she can?

"Only five Republican House members currently sit in districts where Mr. Bush won less than 47% of the presidential vote last year... But 31 House Democrats represent districts where John Kerry won less than 47%."

The news just keeps getting worse for the Dims!

Episcopalians are declining, period.

Some of us who were involved in Operation Street Corner against Sen. Kerry have already started collecting everything we see the is written about, or comes out of someone's mouth concerning Hitlery.

I am posting them on my FR home page, and anyone who has one is welcome to put me on their Hitlery ping list.

MY Free Republic Home page

Operation Street Corner tents, kiosks, displays started popping up around the country last year at field days, county fairs, and on city streets. Follow the link to see Operation Street Corner-Vietnam Vets Against Kerry what was done last year. I have already started working on my North Coast Patriot tent for this year's local city festival.

This is something that is cheap to stage, fun to do, and you get a chance to meet and interact with people who you might have an influence over.

In addition to a Hitlery section I will also present a "Choose Life" section and the discussion over Terri Schiavo, the MinuteMan Project, and off voter registration.

2000, Mr. Bush carried 228 congressional districts to Al Gore's 207 on his way to one of the closest victories in American history. This year Mr. Bush carried 255 congressional districts, nearly six in 10.

Some have suggested revising the Electoral College whereby votes would be apportioned by congressional district won by a candidate, with the candidate winning the popular vote of each state getting the additional 2 votes. By this model, Bush would have won 317 electoral votes in 2004.
