Hey Mike,
You can stop sending me FReep mails.
If you wish to know more about FReeper ideology, spend some time surfing this site. Maybe then you'll figure it out.
Oh, and FWIW, you're a little too late. Some of us have already had experiences with the "media." And most of us that have did not enjoy the end result (distortion, spin, out-of-context quotes, etc.). There are times when I feel liberals do not have the intelligence to understand our platform.
Go push your agenda on somebody else.
Sincerely,
upchuck

One nice feature of FreeRepublic, MTH, is that the threads remain accessable forever. When you get bored with your research, you should search & peruse the ALL YOUR BASE / AM I LOGGED IN / UNNGGGH! threads.

I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public. If I throw a stick, will you leave?

Many thanks to the people who were willing to talk with me by phone. They were genuinely educational conversations for me.
I'm outta here now.....
Best wishes to you all.

"the people"
I usually cringe at anything that invokes "the people" or "Peoples".....because it often wrongful or a disguise when it comes from a leftie.
You can run along now.

Hold fire a bit here. As Michael has published on the subject of protest groups and their dynamics, I seriously doubt it's an out and out "false flag" attempt to collect information useful to the "other side".
I spoke to him and wasn't asked anything that a reporter might ask at Fayetteville and I didn't say anything that I wouldn't tell a reporter at the event. Of course, like they say in the boxing ring, "Protect yourself at all times" and keep your personal information personal.
Let's see how his publication comes out a few months from now.
Needless to say, conservatives don't have a tradition of protesting like the left does, so we're a new species and he's excited about that discovery.

Thanks for the ping & your comments, upchuck.
BufordP - great answers, bravo.
Consequently, there is no need to converse with MTH except to say that I watched in horror at what these protesters did during the Viet Nam era, while my friends were fighting and dying. I will no longer sit idly by. I will continue to counter-protest, in honor and support of our troops, every chance I get!

And... Mike parts his hair on the left while Bill parts his on the right.
I also suspect a rather sizable difference in net worth. LOL
