Wanted: One Genuine Vast Right Wing Conspiracy - (terrific "call to arms" for conservatives) c
THE RANT.US ^ | APRIL 20, 2005 | MR. SMITH

Jack Wheeler and others have been writing recently that Hillary Clinton has a Vast Left Wing Conspiracy underway even now and her own left wing conspirators intend to take over the House and Senate on their way to the White House in 2008. Should that happen, the Constitution and Bill of Rights - as written - would be little but a paper prop that she and her co-conspirators will blast through like a paper pep rally banner when she and her team take the field for the Big Game.

The current attacks on Tom DeLay are just one small, but significant, fracas in the game plan. Leftist media operatives are all in place and doing their best to deceive the American public. Democrat Nancy Pelosi's "junkets" and payroll nepotism and FEC fines are whisked out of sight and the leftist media only raise the usual hue and cry when they have a Republican in their sights. It is left to the websites, bloggers, talk radio shows and Fox News to get the truth out, and it's a worthy effort in a good cause.

Of course, the only new thing about this old deception is that the Democrats don't remember how badly it's worked for them in the past. Some of us out here can remember the "Sleaze Factor" cover of TIME magazine that looked like the Most Wanted wall at the post office, each photo rendered in black and white and each cabinet member or White House employee who'd been attacked and accused of something looking suitably sinister. This was calculated to help the Democrat candidate - Walter Mondale - sweep the Reagan administration out of office.

It's not enough to defend DeLay and other Republicans as the leftists fabricate attacks out of whole cloth. Conservatives need not lay back and stay on the defensive. The Reagan rollback strategy brought down the Berlin Wall and dissolved the old Soviet Union and quite a few Democrat Senators and Representatives can be swept out in 2006.

It's the Democrats who have clearly made the case for a minimum 60 Senators from the majority party. Seems like a good goal to me, particularly if constitutionalist judges can thereby reach the judiciary in place of the ultra-leftists who now proclaim that the Pledge of Allegiance should be banned along with any mention of God in America.

Informed linkage would be a good first step to take back America and it's a simple matter of making consumer choices. I don't subscribe to Time, but I don't take Sports Illustrated either, nor do I rent videos from Blockbuster. If the general public knew that Barney the dinosaur puppet is a billionaire, would they still feel the need to send checks to PBS and tolerate tax subsidies for the Con Arts?

Grassroots efforts can be effective, even against leftist billionaires. Look at the three year legal battle that David Geffen just lost. His fellow California leftists love to rail against unsightly development that infringes on beaches, but Geffen was allowed to build his own Malibu estate on the formal condition that there would be a nine foot wide walkway for the common folk to get down to the beach. He did build it, but he also threw a locked gate across it. You didn't hear about it on CBS 50 Minutes or catch headlines from the AP but the London Times seems to be off the plantation on this one. WorldNetDaily.com caught it.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,11069-1574157,00.html

My favorite sentence in the story of the public access battle has to be this:

"The pathway is the first of ten that Access for All, a non-profit group, is trying to open along some of the most desirable parts of Malibu, a weekend playground for California’s wealthiest residents that is also home to more luxury drug rehabilitation centres than any other city in North America."

How much money goes to Democrats from the Malibu set where there's so much profit in sex, drugs and rock and roll? Hollywood leftists are the people for THAT "American Way" and if the rest of us don't know it and decide among ourselves to resist, the Hillarycrats will prevail.

The leftist media love to damn President Bush for not knowing everything and the CIA and FBI for not having every fact at their fingertips to include perfect knowledge in their reports. If, as Lyndon B. Johnson famously observed, a President's judgment is only as good as the information he receives, that is most certainly true for the voters - the people whom the Constitution does indeed task with selecting those who write, execute and adjudicate the laws of the land.

It's OUR country. We - the popular majority of American voting citizens - are obliged to make informed decisions. I propose that we are also obliged to inform all of our fellow citizens as well. The casuist lawyers of the left like to claim that freedom of expression must be limited and they always throw in the example of someone yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater. They never seem to note that the real issue is whether or not it's a lie because failing to yell "Fire" in a burning building is as inhumane a form of moral dereliction as one can imagine.

CBS and the New York Times and the whole leftist lot of them are screaming "Fire him" at Tom DeLay, and they also falsely claim that the First Amendment is just their personal property, like Geffen's beach property to which common citizens have been denied access. But they rose up and pushed back. And they beat the billionaire in court. Small wonder that elitist Democrats are investing so heavily in trying to buy the politicians who prevent honest judges from reaching the bench.

Make no mistake, common citizens have a lot to do if we want to roll back the entrenched leftists. They've had it all their way for quite some time and they will resist in every way they can.

But they should make no mistake either. The struggle for America isn't over. Now we've literally got a beachhead against the billionaires and their bought bureaucrats. And we've got the New Media samizdat to contest the Old Media monopoly in the 21st Century Information Age.

Victory is never inevitable, despite what the Hillarycrats will tell you about the sweeping Democrat gains they project in 2006 and 2008. And D-Day certainly didn't end WWII. But we do know something about today's contest.

Conservative Republicans don't refuse to have God on their side as the leftists do. It's fair to say that in the end, they don't have a prayer.

"Victory is never inevitable, despite what the Hillarycrats will tell you about the sweeping Democrat gains they project in 2006 and 2008."

As gutless and ineffective as the Republican party is these days and the republican president's liberal spending policies and policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws I don't think the republicans deserve another shot at the White House in 2008. But, at the same time the democrats don't deserve the White House either.

It's time for a true conservative to hold the presidential seat in 2008. Anyone but a republican or democrat in 2008.

Well, a true republican and/or Republican might be okay, and "anyone" isn't a good idea when it might mean a Greenie Socialist. What we need is a true conservative, regardless of party affiliation.

I'm not holding my breath, though...the pseudoconservative "Terri-freaks" are doing a nice job of weakening us in time for 2006. :-(

Rethinking my position on DeLay's effectiveness. If the leftists want him out so badly, he must be doing SOMETHING right!

" If the leftists want him out so badly, he must be doing SOMETHING right!"

It's not just the "leftists" that are starting to murmur. My understanding this that there are grumblings within the ranks of the republican party also. Delay has to realize that representatives are elected to represent the folks from their individual districts, not represent GWB. Personally, I think Delay should have been canned when he started the committee reassignments when some of the reps didn't tow the party line.
