Michael Savage is an acquired taste. He's not always good. But when he is good he is great and blows the competition out of the water. He was great during the slow motion execution of Terri Schindler/Schiavo. He smacked down the godless conservatives who called the show

I agree. When he's on, 7 percent of the time, he's on. The rest of the time he's like a pet alligator.

Neither are the rest of them.

Hannity gets old with his hannitization stuff, and copying Rushs "just 3 hours a day". He lost me when he got so star struck with Arnold.

I don't have enough room to write about that sickning Oreily. He does his own competitive bashing, but is hardly ever good.

Rush is good alot, but went through a boring time.

When Savage is good , he is really funny, and right on.

Fox is stupid to ban him.

Anyone who actually believes that Savage is a real conservative is suffering from a major lack of discernment.

The guy is a self-serving, NO-CLASS, LOW-CLASS PHONY of the first magnitude.

He's like Al Franken. He can only get noticed by bashing those that he and others are jealous of because they are at the top of the mountain.

He's been gradually escalating his attacks on Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly for one reason - he is frustrated because he hasn't been able to get them to pay attention to, and respond to him yet.

I think that if he keeps it up, it won't be long before he totally shoots himself in the foot and is forced off the air waves. I think some people have something on him that if they made it public, Savage would be gone TODAY.

I hope it happens. His erratic, high, low, back and forth emotional instability has prompted some to think that he is a manic depressive, bi-polar, or an out and out lunatic.

Whatever his problems are, he's a huge embarrassment to the conservative cause.

How cute, Michael Weiner now knows who loves god and who doesn't?

Its schtick, its a sideshow, he would say anything for ratings, as do 95% of radio guys. Don't buy any of it, don't make any opinions based on what they say, they are just in it for ratings and dough, not any deep convictions.

100 Percent Agree! He is an acquired taste. Sometimes he snorts fire and other times smooth as whiskey.

Lately though, Michael has been bored with politics, the same old same old, and is concerned about the future of talk radio.

However, when he name calls Rush, although, Savage does give Rush great credit for his pioneer work and success in opening up the dam that held back AM Radio and giving birth to conservative voices on the air waves, while being sympathetic to Rush's current legal problems, Savage's name calling sort of belittles him and I do not like to hear it.

In my view, they are all great and the top three of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush, Savage and Sean. All are good in their own rights. However, Bill O'Reilly ought to cut the co-radio host, she's a dreadful bore and a drain of his and our time and is not included in my top 3 list.

I wish I could hear Mark Levine's Show. Gosh, he is some fire brand! Hugh Hewitt is good too.

My sentiments exactly. He can have be absolutely fascinating, brilliant and instructive - when he's talking about life in general, culture, literature. He really does have a lot to teach people about living -- he's got a lot of wisdom. And some of his comedy is first rate -- leaving Leno and Letterman and their stand-up "comic" guests in the dust. Did you hear his "news report" on the Janet Reno raid on Elian? Side-splitting. (And true)

But when he's just rambling, or on a self-promotional riff, I mentally tune him out (but don't actually turn his show off).
