People want to live in gated communities largely because they're scared.

And vote Democrat.

These "Heavy Trash" guys are probably all "conceptual artists".

That means they have no artistic talents...and thay have no concept of art or beauty.

Some friends and myself once went to a conceptual art exhibit at the Corcoron...man has that place degraded..

They almost threw us out...we walked around laughing our asses off...much to the dismay of the cultural elite who were present.

Concerning "Art", which is undoubtedly a gift from the Divine, how many Hollywood artists live in gated communities (out of sheer necessity no less).

This new Guerrilla Art may spawn a resurgence of burning dragon and devil effigies like festivals of old that brought communities together in celebration of protecting civilization from wickedness.

"but why do these morons care if someone does [(live in gated communities]?"

Because school buses drop children off directly inside or at the very gates of these communities.

I doubt if the Hollywood artists would even consider letting the "masses" walk around in their neighborhoods.

Then the Hollywood artists might be the first to play the Romans fighting the "Barbarians at the Gates". They'd certainly have the right costumes.

No, I meant why does Heavy Trash care if someone lives in a gated community?

Thanks for the ping!

I don't see gated communities as a problem since living there is voluntary. Those I'm familiar with are kind of isolated yet relatively safe if one has little children. I myself would prefer a mixed community where I can walk down the block to a store if I have an urge for a donut or run out of milk.

So called "Artists" today are not trained in the classical thought process of thesis and antithesis. Therefore, they have no problem holding contradictory positions without seeing the contradiction.

They cry "smash the state", while simultaneously insisting that the state fund their activities. They decry capitalism, but won't give up their Visa cards.

What's wrong with gated communites?

Oh wait, I know, gang thugs can't get in to graffiti and commit crimes and illegal aliens can't sell their crap up and down the street in a shopping cart, right?

Sorry, I didn't explain better. Some "artists" want to "expose" their art (or...snicker snicker...themselves) to children. Restricting access to such neighborhoods cleaves them from poisoning another generation.

I guess not. Because the majority hold the contradictory position. But they also are not trained in classical art processes either, at many schools, so they also don't know what they're doing artwise.

Yeah, I guess these wannabe "guerillas" are the perfect example of adherents to the socialist viewpoint: the state decides what box eveyone fits into, and then puts them there. 'Course, these idiots, as believers in democracy, are ready to appoint themselves the ones who do the fitting and putting.

I love my moat. Our electric eels very popular with burglars. They leave their tools in gratitude, sometimes. It's amazing how many people...(rather not count)..think the Beware of Alligators signs are jokes.
