I wish he would illustrate how the RATS are terrorists that are holding American judicial nominees hostage for political gain. The proof is in the way Reid offered to release some of the hostages earlier this week, while holding on to the balance for bargaining power. In his short speech at the beginning, he needs to pull a Ross Perot. He needs to come out with charts and graphs to help explain projections regarding the future of Social Security.

The Social Security issue is extremely complicated, but it's important enough that the President would be wise to have faith that the public will realize its importance. We can lengthen our attention spans on this one occasion.
