The Philadelphia Police raided Strawbridge and Clothier Store in Philadelphia last week. There were numerous complaints of homosexuals meeting and having sex in the mens room at the store. It made both customers and employees angry and disgusted. Finally they had a raid. They put the photo's in the paper. This is stray dog alley behavior. Yeeeesh

Agreed--I live in Philly so I've heard quite a bit about it. But there are groups of straights being grossly immoral to. No group has a monopoly on disgusting behavior.

It's unfair to gays who don't act that way to paint them with the same brush. The guys down the street from me hate that kind of stuff because it reflects badly on them. I guess it's like a Muslim who's just living his life and gets hit in the reputation by morons like Atta.

No, he's right.

I read something recently where radical gay groups encourage their "members" to donate blood. They consider it to be discrimination to NOT allow gays to donate blood.

Poke around the net. I'm sure you'll find it.

You are being ridiculous.

I have absolutely never heard of such a thing. Can you provide a cite for this?

I'm not good with HTML, but go to google and type in the words "HIV AIDS Gay blood 198"

There are numerious articles and hits you'll get.

I use the number 198 because I could not intially recall the years.

Some of the articles will make referances to Ryan White and Arthur Ashe.

One of the first articles that will pop up lists a huge list of referances to check from and sources from.

You can call all those articles ridiculous, but its a pretty vast number there and should take no more then a few minuits to get the necessary info.

Also, here in Free Republic, just go to the archives under aids and blood, you should also find a few more referances.

The down low is alive and well in Connecticut prisons where it was founded. It happens when a husband or boyfriend ends up in prison for more than a month or two and he doesn't know how to control his sexual desires. All prisons have male prostitutes who parade around acting like women. Some of them have breasts, wear G-strings, wear blush and red lipstick made up of powdered cherry drink all to seduce the hard up men.It works well on the prisoners who are in prison because they don't have any self control. They will have unprotected sex with a fag who almost definitely has AIDS after he banged the entire prison population. When they leave prison and go home they bring with them the gift of AIDS that they give to their wives and girlfriends. The women who decide not to use protection are playing Russian Roulette with a gun that has a full chamber.

It's as simple as copying and pasting the website address. You don't need HTML to write comments.

It shouldn't be our job to go trapsing around looking for information you claim exists, especially bogus info.

However, I did your google search anyway and found nothing. It may be the case that gays claimed they were being discriminated against by not being allowed to donate blood, but if this occured it was out of ignorance, not malice.

No gay group ever told HIV positive members to donate to macliciously and 'intentionally posion the blood supply' as you (Sonny M) claim.

If they did they should have all been charged with murder as it is a crime.

I don't think it was ignorance, it was malice.

And yes, they should have all been charged with murder.

There was a reason why they were not being allowed to donate blood, they knew what the reason was, and they did it anyway.

Thats evil.

Didn't either Law & Order or NYPD Blue do an episode on guys being on the down low recently, like the past year. Seem to recall seeing it.

Yes, I think it was in the last year or so, called "Low Down". Interesting, I had never heard about this before then. See, watching TV does make you smart!

Well I tried a google search too. I used "gay blood donation". I didn't find any support for the allegations that gays have been encouraged to donate blood surreptitiously.

I did find this article, which even though it is from the Gay Men's Health Crises site seems very even-handed. It is too old to include the most recent restrictions on folks who have lived in Europe (maybe only England) due to fears of "mad cow" disease.

It's long and I didn't read the whole thing carefully, fwiw.

Sorry guys, I should have put the "sarc" attribution to my post.

"Pa mom", Post #5, a bit more familiar with my posts, picked up my failure quickly- and tried to protect my backside/ (no bun intended, pamom) Thanks. :o)

My standard line as to gays is, you let them out of the closet, they'll take over the house. That's what happened here in Ct. - and regrettably, it's just the beginning here. Hope your states fare better. Expat, read the link on tolerance- My view, what gays do is private business, until they make public business. That threshold was past long ago in Ct., once gay literature hit the public classroom.

My point is that a lot of individuals are engaging in stupid, reckless behavior. In general - they are welcome to it - as long as they are not offloading the costs of their behaviors on others (read: taxpayers, private pay insured's, to a lesser degree these days than at the outset of this epidemic - innocent bystanders/hemophiliacs).

The majority of black men went from the plantation to the pentientery, and this is not by chance? This AIDS epidemic is another planned REWANDA/GENOCIDE made in America.
At times,
I QUESTION if blacks are more persecuted than the JEWS?

IMO, it has to do with a more permissive society.

Back in the late 80s, homosexuality was starting to be accepted in mainstream circles..

In the mid 90's bisexuality was starting to be accepted.

It was only a matter of time before men started to experiment with other men, since more people were out of he closet and it probably isn't too hard to find a gay/bi man today.

This is why it didn't happen in the 80's IMO.

Plus, AIDS is viewed as a chronic illness by many, without realizing that eventually it WILL kill them. To top that off, drug do not work on 100% of patients. There are people with full blown AIDS who don't respond to the cocktails (and it's not because of drug resistant HIV.)

"Ironic, we teach our kids not to smoke or drink alcohol based on historical medical data, and yet the gay lifestyle has the same problem, and schools want to elevate it as another form of normal behavior that children should sexually consider."

That is the biggest hypocracy to me. They push homosexuality in the schools as completely healthy and normal.. When it is very dangerous. For example all the homosexuals who died of aids.
