Impeachment Time: 'Facts Were Fixed' (ZOT!!! His worries are over.)
disinfo.com ^ | Greg Palast (Worryingly omitted by poster)

Posted on 05/07/2005 8:27:15 AM PDT by butiful for spacious skies

'Here it is. The smoking gun. The memo that has "IMPEACH HIM" written all over it.

'The top-level government memo marked "SECRET AND STRICTLY PERSONAL," dated eight months before Bush sent us into Iraq, following a closed meeting with the President, reads, "Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam through military action justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy."

'Read that again: "The intelligence and facts were being fixed . . . ."

I voted for Bush twice and think he is a good President, but...

Sure you did. Tell you what. You tell me what law he broke, or what he did, to base this impeachment charge on.

My son tells me there's a bear in his closet, but you know what? There isn't.

No doubt.

Good grief, you'd think that with as much practice as they'd had, their overall trolling quality would increase...

I voted for Bush twice and think he is a good President, but what should we do about this if it is true?

I don't know! Omigosh! Calm down now and think, man, think! What should we do!??!?

All right. Stay with me. We should find a dead cat, preferably one that was road killed but that's not TOO mangled. Then, we'll go to Pleasantview Cemetery at midnight on Halloween and burn the cat's whiskers, casting the ashes to the four cardinal points of the compass. I think I know an Obay woman who can supply us with the right incantation (if we ply her with rum). If we do it right and our hearts are pure, maybe it will make the Evil Spirits go away.

Other than that, I got nothin'.

I'm very worried. This looks bad.

You're right, it does, Bro. But hang in there. All is bleakest just before the dawn. And I've got plenty of rum in the basement ...

Very nice! Are you trying to win first prize on "Haiku Day"? LOL

I know, it wasn't really a Haiku but it fit with my joke, heh!

LOL, I know. Also, by having to laud your 'credentials' befopre you make a statement gives no credence to said statement.

Its the whole 'bear-in-my-closet'. It's like my son saying "I'm almost 4 with a great imagination, but there really is a bear in my closet!"
