( LIVE THREAD) Michael Graham Will Blow The Doors Off Pro-Illegal Rally on Monday's Show

Posted on 05/08/2005 6:16:00 PM PDT by Doctor Raoul

Please spread the word to everyone you know who is concerned about border security that Monday morning at 9am Michael Graham is going to blow the doors off the pro-illegal alien rally this weekend in Montgomery County.

You can read some of the story for yourself at www.michaelgraham.com, but here's the key part:

Graham attended the event to protest the absence of any immigration enforcement and he ended up being attacked by the pro-illegal organizers and detained by a pro-illegal immigration Montgomery County police officer!

You're not going to believe the audio he's got of his confrontation with the illegals. We've got to get the word out to people who care about this issue.

9am, if you're near a radio or the internet--please tune in! And make sure your friends do, too!

This is posted on WMAL's website:

Statement of Lt. Eric Burnett, Director of Media Services, MCP

On Saturday, May 7, WMAL Radio employee Michael Graham wearing a tee shirt with the bold letters “INS” on the front was detained by Montgomery County Police when he disregarded questions by “Real ID” protest rally event security staff.

Graham’s personal and work identification were verified to confirm that he was a member of the WMAL radio staff. Police explained that these actions were being taken not to deny him access to the rally, but because his attire and conduct could pose a safety risk to himself, others attending the rally, and the public safety staff assigned to the event.

Graham made a phone call to his boss who was advised of the safety concerns, and the WMAL supervisor directed Graham to turn his shirt inside-out. Graham then entered the rally.

The action taken by police was lawful, proper, and in the interest of public safety for all those present at the rally.

What a wimpy, bogus response.

Seems like some CYA going on. Of course, it doesn't answer the question why he was the one jumpted by the police when the rally organizers were the ones that jumped him. MC trying to blame everybody else but themselves.

I beat she lives somewhere in Potomac. I live about 15 minutes away. It always surprises me there is so many of us living here that are on the right side of the issues. Guess just not enough to make much difference.

According to MCPD statement above, Michael Graham 'was detained by Montgomery County Police when he disregarded questions by “Real ID” protest rally event security staff.'

Funny how that statement is not borne out by Graham's tape recording of the event.

More from MCPD's statement, Graham was "detained" by MCPD, and "that these actions were being taken not to deny him access to the rally, but because his attire and conduct could pose a safety risk to himself, others attending the rally, and the public safety staff assigned to the event."

Interesting how MCPD says "detained" for his own safety... Graham says that 4 cops grabbed him, one around his neck and dragged him away. Sounds safe to me.

I really wish that Michael would file a formal complaint. I wonder if WMAL has told him to let it drop. Maybe he can take them to Judge Judy. :)

Yea, they sure condensed that story to make them look good.

He didn't disregard the questions, he showed his ID and asked for ID from the thugs questioning him.

Although it has now been confirmed that the ruffians were security, they should have had some proof if they want to have authority.
Heck, anyone could stand at a gate and say they work there.

BTW, Huckabee was supposed to be on tonite also, but apparently he got bumped because of the tragic murder of those little girls.

RE: INS

So companies who long ago unfortunately chose the wrong name, such as for example International Network Services, Inc., and who may have handed out company baseball caps and tee-shirts saying INS have put their employees at risk?!

Not only at risk from invaders (no other word for ILLEGAL aliens in this context) but also at risk from our very own police departments?!

Just wearing such garb in public could land you in a hospital and then jail?! ("You should have known that it has become insen-n-n-n-nsitive.")

We're neighbors. I live about 30 seconds from Potomac. Actually there are quite a few of us out here.

Join the local Republican party and you'll be amazed. Plus they have fantastic speakers being so close to D.C. Lunch with Ken Starr was my favorite.

And don't forget we do have a Republican Governor. It's a blast to work on a campaign. Just show up at headquarters and they'll put you to work. Think about it. I bet you'd enjoy it.

Yes, I forgot the SS was just following orders.

Oh please..... or did I miss the part where they packed him into an oven. I'm amazed you can compare the two. I wouldn't take their job for a second, would you?

Hack is an idiot but it seems to me the force knew Graham could very well get attacked if he went in. In the end, with some " serious persuasion", he agreed and turned his t-shirt inside-out.

Intolerance is alive and well and tolerated in liberal land and I think Michael pointed it out most succinctly.

The world turned upside down: WMAL reported this morning that the MC police intend to file a complaint alleging that Michael Graham was "causing a disturbance and acting unprofessionally." (Since when is acting unprofessionally a police matter.)

If they follow through, this will be an opportunity to get Michael's tape recording and the conduct of the police into the record.

I can't believe this. I hope Michael files a complaint against them. In any event Michael will have a lot of support. I look forward to Montgomery County being made a fool of, once again.

Just read on WMAL's website that Montgomery County is claiming they didn't say what the paper is claiming. That they have no intention of charging Michael. Can't wait to see what happens next.

It always astounds me that the Mexican people do not fight for their own country.

This makes no sense at all.
