C-SPAN is not very reliable for showing such events these days, but you might try checking their website to see if they plan to show the ceremonies.
Thank you"Wolfstar"Thank you America strong President!!Thank you all
"Today we join them at this hallowed ground. We come first to remember the young Americans who did not live to comb gray hair. Each man or woman buried here is more than a headstone and a serial number; each person here has a name that is precious to some family. And in faded black and white photographs, each one here looks back at us in the full glow of youth: the fresh-faced American in uniform; the newly minted officer with a smiling sweetheart on his or her arm; or the young dad traveling, holding a baby son or daughter on his knee. Every one of these Americans added his own unique contribution to the story of freedom."
Be strong America good country!!!My husband do will write now
"Each and one of you should stand up for who you are; being proud of being American. Let God carry you in his holy hands, let yourself go; let God carry you. Stand up what you believe US; don't be afraid; rather pick your self up and fight for your own dignity and liberty. As always, we would stand by our great ally and would help you as much as we can; be kind and faithful; clean your house from depravity of homosexuality and other depravation which destroys your house. If sometimes you feel lonely and being spit on and rejected, let God take your hand. And if you think you don't have allies; well there is a little country called Poland, and as in old days, we would give you our extending hand of friendship and help"
Glad you had a great time. Like you, I love my Pacific Ocean. About two miles from my apt. I pick up the boat
and go across to Coronado which is just beautiful rather
than go across the San Diego - Coronado Bay bridge which
once in a while I do.
I always love going to Catalina. Been there in the cold of winter and the height of the summer, and never have had anything but a great trip.
I did get far more sun than I'm used to.
Dubya must have been just delighted to drive that car around. Of course, no one is going to convince me that Putin "let" him drive. We all know how our Dubya likes to take charge of dogs and cars and things. LOL!
Good evening, anonymoussierra. I love you!
If I lived so close, I'd do the same.
If I could find a way to make a living over there, I'd move to Catalina.
It's been a long day, and I still haven't fed the dogs. So I'll sign off for tonight. Hope those of you who are still up and about enjoy this thread.
I would think that this speech would be worthy of broadcasting since it is the anniversary of the end of the war.
Happy Mother's Day to all.
I'm glad you had a grat day on Catalina. It was certainly a nice day for it.
My t.v. and internet seem to be hit or miss tonight (they SAT they're working on it!), so if I don't talk tonight I'm not being rude just "indisposed" (drat!)
I'd move to Catalina
A friend of mine, her late aunt lived there for yrs.
I have to be close to the ocean.
I didn't realize that you lived where you do - why did I think you lived in Poway??? I'm losing it.

W is always so humbly and emotionally grateful and profoundly touched by our brave military . ... GOD BLESS THEM ALL and rest their souls.. every drop of blood was shed for US, every death left eternally grieving hearts .. how can a nation ever honor such precious loss but to be ever viligant to carry the flag forward to protect their and our beloved country ?
I am in the Hillcrest neighborhood. Have always
enjoyed living in the heart of the city and so
much around me. Also enjoy Balboa Park.
Having never owned a car, I am by several bus lines.
walking distance to so much.
Thank you Be Strong America good country
Sara, thank you for these pictures. I saved several of them.
I've always thought Aleksander Kwasniewski was a very handsome man. That's a nice picture of him with President Bush.
May God bless you!
