This is just...(sigh) I don't even know what to say. These PC nuts are, well, nuts.

I wouldn't wrestle a girl in a meet. I'd quit first. I'd be too worried about the accidental liability: "HE TOUCHED ME *THERE*! SEXUAL ASSAULT!" No thanks.

(sigh) Soon golf will be the only "safe" sport.

Re: How about the boys that lose to the girls?

I think you reached the crux of the discussion.

You have to wonder about a father who would let his daughter wrestle with male counterparts.

I would bet that this idiot father would be the first one to file rape charges against the boy if he wrestled with the girl in the back seat of the car.

I don't like this at all.

Those people up in the Socialist State of Washington have gone completely nuts.

The feminists are reaping what they have sown. They have made the atmosphere between men and women, not just culturally, but more importantly legally, so poisonous and perilous that many men don't trust them. So we see things like this -- out of the simple need for self preservation, men will forfeit matches rather than leave themselves open to an obvious legal danger.

Granted that football is a team sport and she was petite. If the physiques were reversed and she was going to wrestle you in front of everybody, you'd walk away.

This guy is obviously looking for 15 minutes of cable news fame.

He also obviously does not have a lick of common sense.

In wrestling such mismatch wouldn't occur as wrestlers are assigned to weight classes.

You've probably got a point...I figure it's a little of both. Probably depends on each individual wrestler and his priorities.

wait till the girls are 15 and start dating...they will have ample opportunity to wrestle with boys....albeit in the back seat.

All this clown will end up doing is convincing the Christian schools that they need to pull out of the wrestling program altogether.

Which might be his intention.

Some of these so-called 'secular' elements in America are getting crazy.

I used to listen to Savage daily out of a broadcast in the SF Bay area, but have since moved to Southern Oregon. I miss listening to Mike, but sure as hell don't miss the nut cases in the Bay Area...

Ah...true. But as the article stated, the girls were winning.

I was lost in the team sport vs individual sport issue. Girls should have the opportunity to play sports...and with members of the opposite sex. Too band there are too many taboos, liabilities, and in this case - damage to self-esteem, that prevent fair coed sport.

The guy ought to get his daughter to gain 400 lbs. and go for Sumo lessons in Japan...

I think it's more about losing to a girl.

Maybe, if we had a picture of the girl, we would understand why a boy wouldn't touch her. Wrestling may be the only way she can get groped.

Sexually harrassing boys by being forced to touch a pig of a girl they are repulsed by should be grounds for a counter-suit...

In basketball, men will now be allowed to break down the walls of discrimination and join the WNBA.

You have something here...

Dennis Rodman already wears a skirt, dyes his hair, polishes his nails...

Why not?
