"I think FReepers may need to negotiate group rates on anger management classes before this is all over."

I am a certified stress management counselor if that will help. I was going to retire, making my fortune off of liberals who contracted P.E.S.T. after the last election. Then I realized that they would want a sliding scale based on their ability to pay.

After having to deal with rising insurance costs and the threat of being sued in the event a client forgot how to ring the bell to my office, I decided against it.

A tie means it doesn't go to the floor.

If one more GOPer defects, it's over.

I wish I was. Time for the GOP to host a RINO hunt.....time to cull the herd.

Voinovich is afraid Bolton will get off message?

That is the President's problem, Senator, not the Senates, nor yours.

Senator Voinovich, before being too concerned about anyone being 'off message', check your mirror.

Honestly, what is the point of having a majority in the Senate with GOP'ers like this?

>>Yes. Unless someone finds pictures of Bolton in bed with a dead girl or a live boy, Bolton will be confirmed. There is no filibuster here.<<

Yep, I think he is a poor choice for nomination because we needto work with our allies not antagonize them but there is no justification for not approving him. All you can really say is that he pressured analysts to change their analysis and that people who disagreed with him don't like him. That's not enough reason to not approve him.

Even the Washington says he should be approved

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/05/11/AR2005051101795.html

>>Will Mr. Bolton perpetuate the divisions from a new perch in New York? That seems to us a risk. But it also strikes us as a risk that a president is entitled to take on if he wants. Mr. Bush surely knows what role Mr. Bolton played in the first term, and he says he wants to put Mr. Bolton's bluntness to work at the United Nations. The nominee is intelligent and qualified; we still see no compelling reason to deny the president his choice.<<

Maybe somebody has pictures of Boinkabitch. Or else he's on the DNC take, which I have wondered on more than one occasion in the past 3 weeks.

Allen is good for sure. What do you think about an Allen/ Romney ticket in 2008? Assuming Romney comes out strong on the social issues likes guns and abortion. We already know he has done a good job on the gay marriage issue.

There really IS no point. Another freeper calls the GOP "MINO's" (majority in name only.)

If Bolton is confirmed, nobody will care what Voinovich and the others Senators said in committee. Let them bloviate -- all I care about is getting Bolton confirmed.

A tie means it doesn't go to the floor

Are you sure? I thought that the Chair could send it to the floor with a tie vote.

He quoted someone saying Mr Bolton is a " kiss up and a kick down leader."

He's not voting him out of committee, IMHO.
