My prediction is that he will not pull the nuke trigger. One reason or another, the filibuster rule change will not be voted on. That's my guess.

Majority Leader Bill Frist: It's time for up-or-down vote Wrong! It was time for it a couple of years ago.
I'll file this under "I'll believe it when I see it".

Shut up about it already and DO it. Whatever leadership cred he may have gotten from this is long past. Stop threatening and DO IT.

My prediction is that he will not pull the nuke trigger. One reason or another, the filibuster rule change will not be voted on. That's my guess. Republicans have always been weak-kneed, ever since Gingrich and Lott ran the show.
Look for a galactic sized cave-in.

Yep.... they are too scared of what the press might say. Sums it up.
Modern day Republican'ts care more about being re-elected and gaining a "broad" constituency base than standing up for their principles.
There are no more Ronald Reagans.

Prepare to be sold out again by scumbag "moderate" Republicans.
FOX News is reporting a compromise is near.
Compromise = Washington speak for Republicans wimping out.
The GOP. Masters at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

My prediction is that he will not pull the nuke trigger. One reason or another, the filibuster rule change will not be voted on. That's my guess. One essential step is DEMs objecting to taking the vote - either before a cloture motion is filed (if Frist asks for the vote before a cloture motion is filed); or by not contributing enough to get 60 votes when the cloture motion ripens. If the vote happens, then the GOP will have an excuse to not press the nuclear option for a rules change.
