I hope y'all will excuse yet another vanity from me!
As some of you know, I am pregnant right now. (37 weeks on Wednesday) There is some concern from my OB's that I may be developing pre-eclampsia. I have many of the symptoms, such as high (over 140/90) blood pressure, protieninuriea, pitting edema, ect. They are running tests for a confirmed diagnosis. In addition, I had a pre-labor thing going Saturday and Sunday.
I will likely be discussing an induction with them again tomorrow, as I know that pre-eclampsia can develop into full-blown eclampsia w/ little or no warning and can even be fatal. Scary when I am home alone with three little boys all day. To top matters off, the friend we're going to have watch our children when I go to the hospital is moving away in a week, (an unexpected development!) and so if I go into labor and/or am induced after that, I would have to birth this little guy all alone...not a pleasant idea, though I have done it before.
Sorry that this was so long, but I am feeling quite frightened and anxious, as nothing like this has ever happened with any of my previous pregnancies. I could really use any prayers you all would be kind enough to offer.
Thanks, and God bless!
Prayers coming from our home. You take it as easy as you can with all of the little ones running around.
You have my prayers, exnavychick, for you and your baby and the lovely family that awaits its new brother or sister. May God bless all of you and keep you safe from all harm.
We come to you on behalf of exnavychick, asking that you give her peace of mind and spirit at this crucial point in her pregnancy, as well as strength and health. Watch over her little one and protect him, O Lord. Work in this family's lives so that there is someone to look out for the other children so that exnavychick is not alone during labor and childbirth. Provide wisdom to the doctors and medical staff that they may do what is in Your will in taking care of this mother and her babe. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Prayers on the way!
We are praying for you and the baby (and the other children too). Please try and stay calm. God works miracles. Honest he does!

If you want on/off my prayer ping list, please let me know. All requests happily honored!
Thank you for the pings!
You certainly have my prayers. I wish you lived near me, I would be happy to help you out. Hopefully there will be some freeper near you that will be able to help you.
I'll be praying and let us know how things go.

I'm full of faith just now as my son banged his eye with a crowbar a few months ago. Four doctors told him to go home and do nothing, that he would never be able to see out of that eye again.
I had a list of prayer partners who had faith in God.
He's in Houston now and just had retina/cornea surgery and he can now SEE out of that eye.
All things are possible with God.
Amen
Prayers sent for exnavychick, her little one and her family.
You've got our prayers--mine and those of my two children, with both of whom I went through this. But why don't you just go ahead and have the baby tomorrow? 37 weeks is not exactly super-premature.
