- no such thing as severity of sin with God - sin is sin.

Sure, sin is sin but there IS "such thing as severity of sin with God".

We know this because God pronounces more severe penalties for more severe sins in the Bible.

BUT Christians do not choose a sinful lifestyle, and then, DEFEND IT!

Christians are quite capable of choosing to sin and then defending it.

Look at some of the sins committed by men of God in the Bible, and how they tried to defend themselves before repenting.

The New Testament is full of warnings to Christians about sin, precisely because they are capable of such things.

sin is sin - but those who have accepted Jesus and are following Jesus through His Word DAILY are washed in His blood.

More severe penalties? HOW SO? It's hell or heaven.

Defending and then repenting is not what is happening here.

Not sure what you are saying that I haven't already said - of course the Bible is full of warnings about sin. How else would we know about sin.

Christians are quite capable of choosing sin/defending it - AND? THAT MAKES IT RIGHT? We are sinners by nature BUT Christians choose to turn away DAILY under the conviction of the HOLY Spirit.

Christians DAILY take up the cross - turn from flesh DAILY, fall DAILY AND REPENT DAILY, and are led by the Holy Spirit. Their faith grows DAILY. Somehow, you want to dump anyone that says they are Christian, while deliberately and boastfully living a sinful lifestyle, under the same umbrella as those who choose a lifestyle following Him rather than following one's own fleshly desires.

Without Christ in my life who knows where I would be - I am not any better than anyone else but I am BLESSED because of my choice.

There will be a time when some call evil good and good evil and that time is here now.
