You had Sombra Negra in your post. I didn't know what that was. I found an INS report on them and posted it. That was the URL I had in my post.
Not offended. I'm still reading. I don't know all the history on this gang issue. That is why I went and looked up what you posted.

Our problem from the get-go....it is someone else's problem. Eventually it will be everyone's problem, even touching the congress critters up on capitol hill, who presently, don't seem to have a clue.

MS 13 is from EL Salvador. It is a product of that country's long civil war, where left and right wing death squads fought each other and the people.
MS 13 is infamous for the extreme violence that they use as SOP, and their virtual lack of fear of law enforcement.
The Sombra Negra is a right wing death squad that are feared by MS 13 and it is thought that increased pressure from Sombra Negra in El Salvador has led to MS 13 bangers running to the US where they deal with US law enforcement which is hamstrung and emasculated by the current insane "PC" restrictions on LEO actions.
A hundred years ago these bangers would have been shot down in the streets like the mad dogs they are. By Law Enforcement.

I am afraid these bangers understand only one thing, the iron fist, that is to say, brute force.
President Bush should reflect back to March, 2001, when he granted “temporary protected status” to as many as 300,000 illegal immigrants from El Salvador, many of whom were hardened veterans of that country’s civil war, a war that raged for 12 years, and ended in1992. That bloody war pitted government troops against leftists guerillas, and incurred in excess of 100,000 casualties, along with sending hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing northward. A large percentage of these refugees that had fought in their homeland, and who had been trained by U.S. Army advisers in El Salvador on the finer aspects of explosives, weaponry, infiltration and warfare, made it into the U.S. And in so doing, became the nucleus of a new formidable street gang, now pervasive throughout the United States.
They are now recruiting nationwide in state joints. With this army, recruitment is up.

Actually, Contras were Nicaraguan anti-Communist(sandinista) fighters.
El Salvador is another Central American country.
