The infamous manifesto penned in prison during the 1920s by one of historys greatest despots has become a bestseller in Turkey, a troubling sign of increasing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.
Since January, Mein Kampf has sold more than 50,000 copies, rising to No. 4 on the bestseller list. The book outlines Hitler's plans for world domination and his intense hatred of the Jewish people.
"A lot of people in the West don't realize this has always been a popular book among radical Muslims," says Steve Hagerman, founder of Turkish World Outreach. "They think its a tragedy Hitler didnt win the war. This is symptomatic of growing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism in the country."
Hagerman is concerned about a resurgence of conservative Islam in Turkey, which he believes is promoted and funded by Iran and Saudi Arabia.
"Turkey is a different place right now," Hagerman observes. "The military, the radical Muslims and the secularists are becoming more and more anti-American," he says. "Literalist Islam is teaching the Muslims to hate the Jews and to hate democracy. Their belief in Muslim eschatology is that the world is destined to be conquered by Islam."
my head hurts!
just the other day there was an article saying that the turks love us because the euro's won't let them in their failing union.
Did Hitler mention where he ranked the Turks on the racial purity scale in that book?
"Literalist Islam is teaching the Muslims to hate the Jews and to hate democracy. Their belief in Muslim eschatology is that the world is destined to be conquered by Islam."
The writing is on the wall, and it's in Arabic.
They would do well to read William Shirer's The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich instead.
I've read it.
The movie was even worse.
It's so simple isn't it? Everything wrong with the world is those darned Jews and George Bush's fault.
They may have SOLD 50,000 copies of "Mein Kamph", but how many people actually plowed through it? Maybe they used it as a sleep aid for insomniacs.
I read it about ten years ago. It is so poorly written it is difficult to get through.
Hitler formed very close ties with the Muslims before and during WWII, meeting on more than one occasion with Mufti Al-Husseini (one of the most virulent Jew-haters of the early 20th century, and the role model for Yass'r Arafat).
In addition, there was an all-"muslime" Nazi regiment which march under a flag featuring the Crescent and the swastika on a field of green. All the soldiers were issued Arabic editions of mein kampf, a prayer mat, and a koran.
This is among the greatest of the "secrets" or lesser known details of WWII - the alliance between Adolf and the moo-slimes.
Perhaps they are like William Shirer in 1936 when he wrote a report on a Hitler Speech. In the speech Hitler said he was going to kill all the Jews and conquer europe for Germany. Shirer reported what hitler said, then added. That Hitler was just playing to his base. The question Shirer wanted answered was what were Hitler's real intentions.
Turkey, signed a non-aggression pact and a trade agreement with Hitler and supplied Germany with material through the first years of WW2. Turkey was always a German satellite, see WWI; and Hitler hoped that it would soon join the Axis. "Birds of a Feather"
(I think Meek has one of Hitlery...)
"It's all the white Christians fault!!!"
I wonder what Hitler thought of Muslims?
You be the judge:
I've read the book, it's a good one. Timmerman also wrote the Jesse J. expose, "Shakedown."
It's been created by Meek. (see lower left hand corner of picture)
It's great! Captures Hillary perfectly.
Me too, I had to read it for a political theory course. Not exactly staying awake material...

I might be funny though the !#$%^ believes it.
The part about dealing with Germany's syphilis crisis was a real page turner. /sarcasm
"The infamous manifesto...has become a bestseller in Turkey, a troubling sign of increasing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism."
How is this a sign of "increasing" anti-Semitism and how exactly does this translate to anti-Americanism? This is a WorldNetDaily leap of logic. I'm sure Turkey has had, for a good while, its entrenched class of hate-kooks. It probably reflects what is already there, not necessarily that MORE are being converted to Hitler's brand of evil.
Anyway, I'm not so much worried about Turkey. I'm really worried about an Islamicized Latin/South America. I expect this to be the Islamic high point of their war against the West and our southern border will be our Armageddon.
(IMO Europe's lost; non-Muslim Europeans don't have the resolve to have large families again in order to out-populate Europe's rising Muslim population.)
I bought a copy one time out of curiosity, couldn't get through the first three chapters. Didn't take long to figure out the guy was insane.
I bought a copy 25 years ago. I was living in Germany and I wanted to see how an entire nation could be seduced by a single person. After several attempts I decided it either wasn't Hilter's writings or something was very seriously lost in the translation. Either way it looks almost brand new except for a nice layer of library dust. ( a fancy way for saying I don't dust bookshelves well.)
He liked them well enough to let them into the SS. The Mufti was also welcome in Berlin during the war.

Gee, anti semitism in a muslim country.
Who would have thunk it?
Maybe it was cheaper than toilet paper over there!
And Che Guevera too of course.
What in heavens name is wrong with the world to embrace and admire such fascist hate mongers, terrorists and killers?
Think about it, billions and billons of people have their knickers in a twist and blame all their problems and all their failures on over less than 13 million Jews. Wow, those darn Jews are pretty scary and powerful. It must be the gefilte fish or kreplach.
Thanks for the ping!
Moral Absolutes Ping.
File it under "know thine enemy".
Hmmm - one of the founders of ACT-UP, Larry something or other, admitted that he and the other original members of the radical "gay" group read Mein Kampf for inspiration.
Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.
Radical Islamics and homosexual activists - twins separated at birth?
Amin Al Husseini seen inspecting his Hanzar Division made up exclusively of Muslims, mostly from the Crotia/Bosnia/Serbia region. They actively lead the genocide against Serbs, Serbian Jews and Gypsies.
Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

WWII . Amin Al Husseini spent most of the war in Berlin. He was on Hitler's payroll as he lead the Hanzar Division of Muslim SS and played a lead-role in determining the fate of Europe's Jewish community.. From Berlin, Amin Al Husseini helped organize the transfer of Nazi officers into the Middle East

My Mom had Mein Kampf as her Book of the month club selection in 1939 or so.I so value these treasures from my Moms day, she would write notes on the fly leaf of her books. I remember her notes on the book being something like incoherent ramblings and racism and how she was disappointed that German intellectualism had fallen so low.
Hitler was just using them. No matter how white they think they were, they weren't white enough for Hitler's view of 1,000 years of nazi heaven. All they, the North Africans and the Indians were to Hitler was a means to an end.
Incredible, no wonder the Muslim world is nuts.

Thanks for the credit. But not necessary. I owe you.
What is this huge anti-Americanism frenzy this guy is talking about? OK, the United States' Middle East policy has been less than sympathetic for the past few years but the far left and far right have always disliked the US and Israel and Iran (when the Shah was in power) and anybody else allied with her. That list would include the Turkish government too. As in every other country, these people make up something around 5-10 percent of the population and never gain enough power to make any major impact in the political scene.
How many copies of Mien Kampf have been sold in the US the past year?
