"even the upper-middle class people i went to HS+college with are just skating by...."Your right.A few of my family still live in the Buffalo,NY area.An Aunt(who worked 20+yrs for the city)told me that Buffalo is one of a few US cities that is actually losing population.One of my cousins was an officer with the BPD.Very dangerous areas.Decrepit/run down buildings that the owners don't even bother with.Simply abandoned.
