Tomorrow is a great day for Fathers. We used to get ties, handmade ashtrays, fingerpainted pictures and all sorts of lovingly made cards from the kid(s).

Here are the FoxNFriends playing with a Black and Decker Battery powered 25' tape measure

but who really NEEDS such a wonderful tool...?

Page and Kirin seemed to really appreciate this measuring device.

I got my dad The Illuminator. It's a flashlight that does use batteries or bulbs. You generate light by winding for one minute to provide up to one hour of continuous ultra bright light.

Well, what I NEED is a refrigerator magnet made out of popsicle sticks with my kids' drawing on it.

But I'd settle for Juliett Huddy...

The best and most memorable Fathers Day gift I ever received was an early morning telephone call from my daughter, when she was a little girl and spending the night with a friend. (I hate to sound like a Pollyanna or something, but that's the truth. It was unprompted and from the heart, and I'll never forget it.)

As a matter of fact, I still have a painted rock that my daughter brought me from kindergarten.

I am going to receive my Father's Day present this afternoon - my 4 year old daughter is performing in her first ballet recital - and she tells me it is dedicated to me.

I'm charging up all the camera batteries. :-)

I'm asking for a new smoker so I can make beef jerky for my family, employees and customers.

It's "Tool Time" at our house this Father's Day. We're getting Sir SuziQ a new reciprocating saw to replace the one he interited from his Daddy. I've also ordered, but he'll only get a picture of it tomorrow, a new Makita Circular Saw. The one he has, and had used when helping his contractor Dad in high school 35 years ago, finally gave out day before yesterday. One too many bounces on the floor, me thinks. ;o)

We're fixing to put a HUGH addition on our home, so he needs some quality tools with which to do the job! He's already replaced his 35 yr. old table saw, and several electic drills, screwdrivers, etc.
