Treasonous agenda of the Council on Foreign Relations

"In Defense of the World Order ... U.S. Soldiers would have to kill and die"

– Aurthur Schlesinger Jr., July / August '95 Foreign Affairs, CFR's flagship publication

Lou Dobb's show on June 9, 2005, was an eye popper and even Lou couldn't contain his shock:

Lou Dobbs, CNN Anchor: Good evening, everybody. Tonight, an astonishing proposal to expand our borders to incorporate Mexico and Canada and simultaneously further diminish U.S. sovereignty. Have our political elites gone mad? We'll have a special report. Blood ... Now, incredibly, a panel sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations wants the United States to focus not on the defense of our own borders, but rather create what effectively would be a common border that includes Mexico and Canada."

Christine Romans, CNN Correspondent (voice-over): On Capitol Hill, testimony calling for Americans to start thinking like citizens of North America and treat the U.S., Mexico and Canada like one big country.

For constitutionalists like myself, this is treason talk and Lou Dobbs should be thanked by the American people for exposing this evil plan. The fact that it is even being discussed in the U.S. Congress is putrid. The Council on Foreign Relations is an organization whose mission is to redefine American policy and slide this republic into a one-world government – a nightmare beyond what most Americans can't even imagine. Rear Adm. Chester Ward was a member of the CFR for 16 years and later warned the American people as to the true intentions of this treasonous operation:

The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common – they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty of the national independence of the United States. A second clique of international members in the CFR comprises the Wall Street international bankers and their key agents. Primarily, they want the world-banking monopoly from whatever power ends up in the control of global government.

Former Congressman John R. Rarick warned:

The CFR, dedicated to one-world government, financed by a number of the largest tax-exempt foundations, and wielding such power and influence over our lives in the areas of finance, business, labor, military, education and mass communication media, should be familiar to every American concerned with good government and with preserving and defending the U.S. Constitution and our free-enterprise system. Yet, the nation's right to know machinery – the news media – usually so aggressive in exposures to inform our people, remain conspicuously silent when it comes to the CFR, its members and their activities.

The CFR is the establishment. Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also finances and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high-level decisions for converting the United States from a sovereign constitutional republic into a servile member of a one-world dictatorship.

Who are some of the past and present members of this anti-American operation? Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, Porter Goss, Alan Greenspan, John Bolton, Paul Wolfowitz, Gen. Richard B. Myers, Henry Hyde, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., Sandra Day O'Connor, George Soros, Christopher Dodd, Diane Feinstein, Gerald Ford, Bill Frist, Newt Gingrich, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Katherine Harris, Teresa Heinz, Antonia Hernandez – President of Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Gen. John P. Jumper – current Air Force chief of staff, Joseph Lieberman, John McCain, Rupert Murdock, David Rockefeller, Diane Sawyer and Tony Snow.

Popular "conservative" radio talk-show hosts attack anyone who dares to suggest the provable agenda of organizations like the CFR or United Nations. Better to attack the messenger than the message. Most popular mouthpieces on radio or television today have never spent one minute doing the research I have over the past 15 years. Perhaps Dan Smoot, a former member of the FBI Headquarters staff in Washington, D.C., who specialized in this field was nothing more than a kook when he warned, "The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system and make the U.S. an official part of it." Before any American decides to poo-poo the CFR and their diabolical agenda, they might wish to read some of the writings by Barry Goldwater on this issue.

Our beloved republic is being wrested away from we the people by sitting presidents and Congresses since 1913. It is being done right out in the open, and yet, the American people don't seem to be taking their freedom or liberty seriously because they continue to vote back the same scoundrels, crooks, communists, socialists and sellouts into office. America is under attack by forces who wish to destroy this republic, our way of life, our independence, our lives, liberty and freedoms.

Before you can fight an enemy, you must know who your enemy is and the game-plan. If you play the game, the game will play you. I encourage every American to do the hard research and in November 2006 – clean out Congress, our state legislatures and any other elected office where the current incumbent is violating their oath of office and betraying our republic.

This is completely off-topic, and for that I do apologize, but am I the only one wondering if some are wishing for a return to Crown rule vis a vis 'treason'? It seems like every time someone says something or does something that someone else doesn't like, that someone else has to yell "treason!". To me, it cheapens the meaning of the word as redefined by the men who founded this country to escape things like the Crown's definition of "treason" (which amounted to saying or doing something the King didn't like). I may be downright disgusted with a lot of the garbage spewed by liberals and other assorted nutjobs, but to me, this is as bad as those who scream "terrorism!" at every gunshot or car accident. Treason and terrorism are both very serious things, and I think they deserve to be discussed in serious, deserving circumstances; not cheapened to the point of being words tossed around for shock value. Or am I just being overly irritable?

"Who are some of the past and present members of this anti-American operation?"

Putting Republicans on the first line of "known" CFR members, knowing the short attention span of the target audience, is a bit of a clue. Recycling old conspiracy theories of the right, for use on the left.

Previously:

WASHINGTON – North American national borders would be virtually eliminated under plans being considered by senior business and political leaders from Canada, the United States and Mexico for a "NAFTA-plus," continent-wide, customs-free zone with a common approach to trade, energy, immigration, law enforcement and security.

A tri-national task force, chaired by former Liberal Party deputy prime minister John Manley, with the full backing of all three governments, is plotting the roadmap for this new, bolder alliance meant to compete with the European Union. William Weld, former governor of Massachusetts and Pedro Aspe, former Mexican finance minister, join Manley on the panel that reports directly to the Council on Foreign Relations.

The mission has the formal blessing of Tom Ridge, U.S. Homeland Security secretary, who is close with President Bush.

Obviously the intent of planned illegal alien incursion..
First of a further dumbing down of America and second mass importation of people not big on "borders".. that will become future voters if they don't vote already..

Pretty smart really.. and it seems to be working handsomely..
Generally America has their eyes on the middle east.. another brilliant stoke of genius.. with the mass incursion continuing unabated.. Obviously, as planned.. To think Bush and the Pentagon don't see this, strains credulity..

Only thing the CFR is afraid of and could stop this, I think, is a revolution in the U.S... Voila!.. the Patriot Act.. What a name.. Any revolutionary's would then be instant domestic terrorists, as they ARE NOW(if there are any).. And the full force of U.S. Military might would be brought in to quell the revolution.. Unless it started in the military.. Fat chance "they" are busy in Afghanistan and Iraq.. Pure genius I would say..

All in all the CFR(and other sources) have hatched a brilliant scheme.. for the de-nationalization of the U.S... It might take a few years but its well on its way to completion.. The U.N. is just a faux target for the rubes.. another unproposed Cabal will be designed for THAT, I think..

Travis McGee and Jeff Heads books.. are merely openers to this scenario..

You're right in everything you say. But don't forget that while there are different competing factions, they're all in bed together from the US, EU, UN, big business, World Bank, and so on. It's not about free trade. It's about managed trade and using the government and creating international governing bodies to fix the game and to eliminate the risk of loss that would occur in a genuine free market.

No outrage...Even on Free Republic...It was just a few years ago, right here on FR that many members decried the notion that the CFR even exhisted...It has been a quasi-secret organization for years...

The first real public mention of the CFR in a positive light came from Bill Clinton while he was president...

Gotta say, these people have been patient...But, the jig is up...

The fact that it is even being discussed in the U.S. Congress is putrid.

A committee of the CFR is not the same thing as Congress. If the CFR was half as powerful and influential as those who fear it claim, we'd have been under one-world government 35 years ago.

They come up with some wacky suggestions, but that's all they are.

It's what you call Lock-Step republicans, just as bad as lock-step democrats. It wouldn't matter if they are sending us to the edge of the abyss, they'd vote republican no matter what. I've lurked here for years, through Clinton and Bush. You could have smelled blood for every small thing clinton did, but when bush does things over and over again, not a peep. There are some very intelligent and smart thinkers on this board, and then you have a large number of scary people who can't think for themselves.

I think you can get one by calling them and getting their annual report. They're pretty up front about their treason being "citizens of the world" and all that. I've had people right here on FR tell me that there is no CFR that it's just the invention of a bunch of tin-foil-hat nutbars.

Something "Evil" Council on Foreign Relations Membership List

Success out of Fear

"Today Americans would be outraged if U. N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government." - Henry Kissinger, in an address to the Bilderberg meeting at Evian, France, May 21, 1992.

Transcribed using a concealed tape recording made by one of the Swiss delegates. Henry Kissinger is an inner-circle member of the Bilderbergs, Council on Foreign Relations, and Trilateral Commission, and a long-time right-hand-man of David Rockefeller, who aspires to be the Czar of the Global Union. Only Rockefeller has attended more Bilderberg meetings than Kissinger.

One thing which bothers me is why some private organization wants to be devoted to foreign relations. That is one of the few things I think the Federal Government has the real power over.

I too am not knowledgeable on the Bilderbergers, CFR or those other organizations but it would seem that a meeting which is attended by wealthy and influential individuals in which what is discussed is secret but that it is known to involve world affairs would be a conspiracy by definition.

The thing that astonishes me, when one examines the events over the last 100 years, how is that with the brightest minds of the whole world in every conceivable postiion of power and authority, and at all levels of society - Harvard, Yale, Carnegie, Rhodes, Oxford, Princeton, etc. - result in the entire world stumbling from one social crises, catastrophe to another? The laws of chance alone suggest that things would be gotten right at least once. But instead, what I see instead is the travesty of an ongoing train-wreck over the last 100 years. How could things be gotten that wrong and so often? Unless its not an accident.

The legal definition of conspiracy is: two or more persons acting in concert to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action even so the conspirators are not aware of the conspiracy, nor others engaged with the same objective in mind. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design, even so the conspirators are not aware of the existance of such, leaders and organizers, or each other, nor even its goals. In the United States courts of law, a charge of conspiracy is extremely onerus one. Heaven help you if you aren't aware that you're part of one. A fundamental premis in this regard is that ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it. By extension this applies to conspiracies also.

So the question remains, is there a conspiracy to implement pan-global government? I present the analogy of a disassembled firearm, the pieces of which are on a table. A blindfolded person examines the pieces and has to say what's on the table. I postulate that any reasonable person could state there are sufficient pieces on the table to assemble a gun. There's a book that's long out of print. Its called None Dare Call it Treason. The by-line is: because if profit is the reason, then noe dare call it treason.

In that book the author, Gary Allen, writes on page 12:

I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960’s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies....but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.
Xclintoon's most lasting academic impression [as an undergraduate at Georgetown University] seems to have been a required freshman course, Development of Civilization, a survey of European history taught by Carroll Quigley, one of Georgetown's more colorful professors, who was known to conclude his lectures on classical political theory by flamboyantly tossing Plato's Republic or some other masterpiece out the second-story classroom window.

Quigley knowingly explained the connections between money, technology, class, and political power... A consultant to the space program, the Pentagon, and the Smithsonian... he extolled the way both the Democrats and the Republicans, while maintaining a democratic illusion for popular consumption, were fundamentally subservient to powerful special interests.

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies... is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. The policies that are vital and necessary for America are no longer subjects of significant disagreement, but are disputable only in detail, procedure, priority, or method."
That sentiment was echoed by Zbigniew Brzenski, in a 1974 Foreign Affairs issue, intimating that an end run around national sovereignty was essential and to be accomplished through identical means, "whereby if the people ever decided to vote the rascals out, there'd be no difference to the rascals they voted in".

A fellow student of Bill Clinton, Harold Snider, said Clinton found Quigley "fascinating, electrifying, and brilliant."

Carrol Quigley, wrote a seminal book on the goals, objectives and methods of the Council of Foreign Relations Tragedy and Hope (A history of the World in Our Time).

In it, the same quote by Gary Allen can be found on page 950. However, two telling sentances are missing from the above quote: "This myth, like all fables, does in fact have a modicum of truth. There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups and frequently does so." The above network must remain a secret in order for the quote to have any value toward proving that there is a conspiracy. Once the secretive network is revealed, the above quote loses much of its appeal as a proof text for the existence of a conspiracy. Even more telling is the previous paragraph:

The radical Right version of these events as written up by John T. Flynn, Freda Utley, and others, was even more remote from the truth than were Budenz’s or Bentley’s versions, although it had a tremendous impact on American opinion and American relations with other countries in the years 1947-1955. This radical Right fairy tale, which is now an accepted folk myth in many groups in America, pictured the recent history of the United States, in regard to domestic reform and in foreign affairs, as a well-organized plot by extreme Left-wing elements, operating from the White House itself and controlling all the chief avenues of publicity in the United States, to destroy the American way of life, based on private enterprise, laissez faire, and isolationism, in behalf of alien ideologies of Russian Socialism and British cosmopolitanism (or internationalism). This plot, if we are to believe the myth, worked through such avenues of publicity as The New York Times and the Harold Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor and the Washington Post, the Atlantic Monthly and Harper’s Magazine and had at its core the wild-eyed and bushy-haired theoreticians of Socialist Harvard and the London School of Economics. It was determined to bring the United States into World War II on the side of England (Roosevelt's first love) and Soviet Russia (his second love) in order to destroy every finer element of American life and, as part of this consciously planned scheme, invited Japan to attack Pearl Harbor, and destroyed Chiang Kai-shek, all the while undermining America’s real strength by excessive spending and unbalanced budgets.
Carroll Quigley would later destroy the plates to Tragedy and Hope. When Quigley found out that he could not keep the radical right (VRWC) from deliberately distorting this and many other citations in Tragedy and Hope, he decided that the only way to prevent the conspiracy theorists from distorting his work was to deny them their ammunition. In so doing, his plan backfired. The radical Right, as he called them, claims to this day that the book was suppressed by the New World Order.

Does anyone know how to get a current or very recent list of CFR members?

You might try going to their website and click on the About the Council link. There they have links to:

MISSION / HISTORY
COUNCIL BROCHURE
FAQS
DEPARTMENTS / PROGRAMS
COMMUNICATIONS
MEMBERSHIP
FELLOWSHIPS
STAFF
ANNUAL REPORT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS / INT'L ADVISORY BOARD
JOBS / INTERNSHIPS
CONTACT INFO

The Membership page just tells you how you (no, not you) can become a member. The list of the Board of Directors is here.

(I quit reading after that.)

It always surprised me that they never kept their membership secret. Of course it could be that old trick in one of Edgar Allen Poe's stories where a letter was hidden by placing it in plain sight.

[ No outrage...Even on Free Republic...It was just a few years ago, right here on FR that many members decried the notion that the CFR even exhisted.. ]

True.. but thats because of the Alex Jones's and like that..
The perfect cover for compiracy is a whole bunch them that are mostly Moonbat ravings..

This has been played with a master hand.. By whom.?. Well god knows there are a bunch of "them" to "'blame".. To think this being carried out by idiots flys in the face of pure genius.. Very well done...

All to nought with a revolution though.. That is the ONLY thing that they stay up at night about.. The U.S. gov't, the Msm and MsP, Hollywood, and maybe even CABLE are involved.. in all this.. Nothing this intricate happens willy nilly..

The INTERNET.?.. Well the internet is mainly just a bunch of b!itching.. as we do here.. Notice the Dan Rather expose' solved nothing.. cBS has Moonbats coming out their ears.. there is no lack of moonbats.. Nothing was solved.. cBS was even allowed to INVESTIGATE themselves by the FCC which is headed by Colin Powells son.. The FCC having a budget of more than 300 million dollars.. WHY?.. What do they Do?..

The whole thing smacks of compiracy.. even multi-convoluted compiracys.. Been following this for years here.. many compiracys are silly some are not.. How would a "sheep" know..

It comes to stop though when the sheeple STAMPEDE....
A lot of wolves will get trampled, sheep too, sheep dogs too, but its the only way the flock will survive.. How will you know whos a sheep.?. Who's in the stampede.. even then some stampeders are just running..

By the way, it was just too convient for me that John F'ing Kerry ran against George Bush of all the democrat contenders.. George might have lost otherwise..

Really Dog...

The one thing everyman fears is the unknown. When presented this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of well being granted to them by World Government. -- Henry Kissinger, Amiens, France, 1991
